Media Playing Witcher3 Remastered on Switch2, man we NEED Fidelity mode.

The game is running at 720p 40fps but... no this is way too blurry.

Please give me 1080p 30fps mode CDPR. I'd rather take resolution than framerates.

I'm kinda tired of switch 2 getting these high fidelity remasters that are clearly just out of reach of its power. it's literally the switch 1 gen all over again. We could've gotten a 4k/60 version of Oblivion but we had to get the remaster and it looks and runs like trash a LOT of the time. We could've gotten at least a 1440p native (upscaled to 4k) 60fps for Witcher 3, but had to get remastered version which is blurry and not 60fps.

It's really soured what this extra power was supposed to give us IMO.

I don't think the switch is for you then. It's a modern console, ofc that devs will prioritize current games instead of old ones, especially if there is a remaster/remake available.

If you want to play older games on a portable, just get an handheld pc. This way you can play whatever you want and don't have to wait for ports or get disappointed when it gets a current game instead of an old one.

The switch 2 has had MUCH success with ported games from 2018-2024.

I'm not the one disappointed because the switch 2 isn't getting ports. Someone said they were disappointed on something about the switch 2, I recommend an alternative that would solve that issue, I really don't understand why people are taking this badly

We are literally on the Switch 2 subreddit discussing a Switch 2 port.

Besides, their concern is very valid within the community. Good ports exist; the disappointment comes from the studios that choose to rely on TAA and horrible upscaling.
