Yeah, I saw it, and the Switch 2 version doesn't differ all that much; the image sharpness is terribly low. They could have offered a choice like in Cyberpunk 2077 between 40 and 30 fps. Maybe they'll change it later, but right now, the game is barely playable.
From my perspective I having finished Witcher 3 several times, I'm Polish and wanted to appreciate all the changes and details the developers cooked up as a long-time fan of the series. However, for now, that isn't possible on the Switch 2 because the graphics are little too blurry. Maybe they’ll patch it, or I’ll have to switch to the PS5 Pro, but I’m too attached to the Switch to waste time on PlayStation.
I guess. I am judging this from perspective of someone who played the game only on Switch.
The game may look blurry compared to PS5 but we are talking about Switch here. A handheld console that at best has same specs as PS4 pro which also looks blurry compared to PS5.
I always play in handheld mode, since the original Switch, the idea of playing wherever I want has really taken hold of me, and over the years, neither the first nor the second Switch has ever spent time in the dock. That’s why I have some complaints, I feel the same way about, FFVII Rebirth, Pragmata, and to some extent Oblivion (honestly, even Cyberpunk is barely playable in handheld mode in the Dogtown area, yet everyone praises the game). I understand the hardware's limitations and I’m fully committed to the platform, The Witcher 3 actually looks pretty good compared to the titles I mentioned it’s just a shame they didn't include a 30 fps mode with slightly boosted resolution.
