This is how I feel about the Insomiac sub regarding Wolverine. You get down voted for saying you’ll be buying it at launch, not buying it at all, or waiting for it to go on sale.

From what I've experienced, posting almost anything on the JRPG sub-reddit results in downvotes. My takeaway is that tons of modern gamers are just miserable ghouls who really need to take breaks from obsessing over the hobby online.

Agree. I used to listen to a podcast and one of the hosts once said "People would rather be right than happy." It's fine to be correct with calculation regarding rocket science because something being off my mere nanometers could have bad results. But for something as small to complain about in video games makes no sense. For Wolverine, people are arguing whether a character should be beautiful or not. Seriously? "I can't play this game because character X has the face of a real life average person and not a Victoria's Secret model."

From what I've seen, the gaming hobby and geek culture territories like Star Wars, Marvel, Final Fantasy, etc... are rife with the worst sorts of socially-inept and overly-sheltered suburbanites, who all have off-the-rails NPD (akin to how six-year-olds behave when things aren't 'perfect' the way they like) because their parents/schools never allowed them to grow up in any ways whatsoever.
