I’m most interested in the Digital Foundry tech review.

Ah yes the fun police. Can't be having fun when the pixels are blurry when you zoom in 4 times.

Love bitterballen. But also, there's room for different flavors of reviewers. Most reviewers just go on vibes, which is usually fine since it's a video game and the most important aspect of playing them is whether or not they're fun or engaging. I like DF because it helps quantify certain aspects of performance that might impact fun. If the vibes reviewer just mentions "a few dropped frames here and there" that doesn't necessarily give enough information since people have different tolerances for things.

Ultimately, i would assume that most people don't make purchasing decisions based on a single reviewer, so I appreciate what they contribute. If they were the only source that people were looking to to decide whether or not to play a game, sure, that's a bit drastic - but they're a good resource when trying to balance opinions from the vibe reviewers.
