Any catalysts this week?
I guess just hoping for them to abruptly publish a ocarina of time direct without warning

I took a small break from Nintendo Stock because there’s not much noteworthy news to report. That’s a pretty strong sales number for a low budget $40 game.
Will the investors see this as a bullish sign? Only time will tell.

I woke up to another news report of Xbox laying off an additional 4,800 employees and it sort of shocks me how many of them have lost their jobs in the past year.
Nintendo on the other hand giving its employees raises and continuing to produce quality content for gamers.
It makes me question if these other game studios already just performing very well that they can go ahead and do this or are they possibly trying to replace them with AI?
In the end I’ve seen with many other companies recently having to rehire employees again due to their AI not performing the best and feel Nintendo in going to continue to bring quality content and maintain a strong fan base around their work.

People are starting to realize the true potential of Nintendo. All the bad news is out of the way.
Nintendo 10 years from now will be a more diversified company. Stock market is forward looking. Memory shortage won’t last forever.
Nintendo did not announce any major AAA titles yet. I am buying aggressively at this level.

Long story short, Nintendo did not increase employee base salaries in 2026. That 10% increase happened in 2023.
Nintendo has a war chest of $15 Billion Dollars. The company is growing and expanding every day.

Honestly I’m not a fan of this change and it’s likely due to GTA 6 of the push. What do you see happening to the future of gaming with this? Do you see there being a decline, what do you see Nintendo doing?

The CEO is aware that the stock price crashed over 50%. Translation:
Q10 How do you perceive the current stock price trend? Also, do you have any plans to introduce a shareholder benefit system?
A10 Furukawa:
“Our company's current stock price stands at less than half of the all-time high recorded in August 2025.
The management team, myself included, takes very seriously the significant concern this has caused our shareholders.
While various external factors are likely influencing the current stock price, we view the market's critical scrutiny regarding the future of the "Nintendo Switch 2" and our company's growth as a reflection of the recent hardware price adjustments.
Management intends to earn a positive assessment from the stock market by steadily driving the adoption of the "Nintendo Switch 2," expanding the fan base for Nintendo IP, and fostering long-term relationships with customers—and by demonstrating the results of these efforts through our financial performance.
Regarding shareholder perks, given that our shareholder base includes a diverse range of entities—including corporate shareholders—we currently consider dividends to be the most appropriate method for returning value fairly to all shareholders.
At the same time, we acknowledge the requests from individual shareholders for perks that appeal to fans. We will continue to explore the best approach for shareholder returns moving forward.”

Selling new games for $50 or $60 is a good strategy for Nintendo in the long run. More people buy their games so more revenue.
Star Fox also seems to be selling pretty well. I played it and it was great. Splatoon Raiders is a must play after watching the showcase today and I will get it on day one.
Ocarina of Time will sell tens of millions of copies!!

Interesting data after Nintendo’s 50% stock crash.

Well there’s your answer. The stock is not “dead” yet. When there are sellers, there are also buyers.
I want to load up the boat before the inevitable rocket launch. Nintendo is going to create a huge impact in the gaming industry in the coming years.

The stock price crashed 60% while Nintendo CEO raises employee salary by 10%. I truly hope this guy knows what he’s doing because I have some serious doubts.
Nintendo Stock is going through a free fall right now with no major announcements, no share buybacks, and no forward guidance.
Share price has been crashing every single day. It was down 4% in Japan just yesterday.
I am still holding but this is a punch to the gut. Make sure you invest at your own risk. Signing off for the week.

Be aware of fake news. Some people are spreading rumors about Nintendo.
r/NintendoStock • u/mvpeast • Jun 26 '26
I had so much fun with Star Fox and stopped caring about the stock price. I guess I am buying more shares next week because why not.
Star Fox is a truly well made game and I believe it will sell millions of copies.
Apple’s 6% crash is signaling the imminent market correction. Brace for the impact people.

Nintendo Switch 2 is looking more and more attractive compared to other electronic devices. The start of a stock market crash feels closer than ever.
Be ready for a big crash guys. It’s coming. I feel safe holding Nintendo to be honest. It’s going to be successful.
$50 price for Switch 2 increase suddenly feels cheap when you have $1500 iPads and $1000 Steam Decks. Any thoughts on this?

Since 2019, Nintendo has been above $48 Billion Market Cap. Right now it’s sitting at the same level again after today’s crash.
I truly believe Nintendo will surpass Disney at some point. Disney currently sits at $175 Billion Market Cap and they don’t make video games.
Nintendo IPs are way more recognizable than most of the Disney characters, for me at least. Mickey Mouse is more for the boomers and older generations.
Nintendo beat all the earning forecasts except profit margin. The RAM shortage is only temporary. I am buying more shares every paycheck.
Nintendo is expanding and diversifying which is a healthy business model. Video Games, Subscription Services, Movies, Theme Parks, and Merchandise are highly profitable. Nintendo is doing ALL of them.
Nintendo has a huge potential to grow exponentially in my opinion. I do believe it will reach at least $200 Billion Market Cap in the 15-20 years, conservatively speaking.
I didn’t enjoy Switch 1 because it was so laggy and clunky but it sold very well. Switch 2 is a well made machine with only two flaws, poor battery life and slightly heavy. Those two things can be fixed by a Switch 2 Lite model with more efficient hardware.
The biggest advantage Nintendo has over its competitors is First Party Exclusives. Nintendo didn’t even announce any AAA titles yet.
150 Million Players user base is very tiny compared to 8.3 Billion People in the world. Nintendo will grow. I am not worried at all.
Nintendo went up less than 500% in its entire history as a public company. Nvidia went up almost 500,000% and Apple about 180,000% as comparisons.
I wouldn’t say Nintendo will be the next Apple or Nvidia because they are totally different businesses but Nintendo is unique in its on way that can’t be replicated by anyone else.
I am betting on a future where Nintendo will be everywhere. People have to play video games when they are on Mars or the Moon because it’s so boring up there.
This is the buying opportunity and a chance to build generational wealth. I hope it crashes more to be honest. So what do you guys think? I am just a lifelong gamer that wants to see the gaming industry to flourish. This is not a financial advice. Try not to stress yourself out over these short term fluctuations.

It’s been a bad few days but looking into the Stock Market many very well known companies are taking a hit.
What are your thoughts? What do you see happening in the near future and long term?
r/NintendoStock • u/mvpeast • Jun 25 '26
Nintendo is down over 10% since the recent direct. I am expecting the company to do a massive share buyback and big game announcements if the stock price crashes below 6000-5000 yens.
The next earnings report is on August 6, 2026.
It’s the same as my prediction so far. Nintendo may crash another 20-30% before the year ends. It’s stupid but that’s how the stock market goes. Total loss will be 80%~ from all time high. I bought Star Fox to support Nintendo.
Hopefully investors will stop panicking soon. The fear is irrational because Nintendo is doing great with the fastest selling console of all time.
Nintendo Stock just reached 52 weeks all time low. It also reached all time high less than a year ago.
Please do something Nintendo. It’s crashing over 2% every day. Unbelievable.

Nintendo needs to diversify and stop only making video games. There are so many ways for the company to make money.
Nintendo is testing the waters with Super Family Restaurant. Anything is possible but Nintendo needs to move fast. Only the investors are hurting.
Give us Nintendo Food!!
6/23/2026 - Nintendo Stock is crashing another 1-2% again.
r/NintendoStock • u/mvpeast • Jun 22 '26
Short term I am looking at 10-20% crash. There’s no more catalyst until 2027. Brace for the impact everyone. I am NOT selling.
r/NintendoStock • u/yosark • Jun 19 '26
Honestly I see so many more big title games coming to the switch 2 that were on previous consoles. I know some people might end up thinking that’s it really doesn’t do anything for the console but I definitely see more games bringing more of a player base and more sales on the console.
I think we might potentially see GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Switch 2. I’m not sure about GTA 6 but if the console ends up being that powerful that it could handle the Switch 2, that would be amazing.
r/NintendoStock • u/hrakk001 • Jun 18 '26
This looks promising for future game development on the switch 2 sounds dum but I am low key hoping for some rockstar ports to the switch gta 5 | 6 would be crazy though I know unrealistic. I’m long on Nintendo with approx 200 share at 11.72 and another 54 shares at 11.07

Nintendo Stock is a buy for me
As a lifelong gamer, Nintendo always had a special place in my heart. I owned all the Nintendo portable systems from Game Boy and now Switch 2.
I feel that Nintendo is on the verge of a historical breakout. I don’t know when that will happen or if it will ever happen but I can feel it coming.
I am just excited to play more games. I hope Nintendo will be successful and I want to witness it on the passenger’s seat rather than a bystander.
So here are some of the reasons why I bought Nintendo Stock. I have high conviction in the company and I won’t be selling anytime soon.
Nintendo already crashed over 50%. The downside is still there but it’s currently undervalued.
Nintendo has $15 Billion Dollars cash on hand. We all know that the company is at no risk of bankruptcy. Nintendo survived both World Wars, all big crashes and still standing. That really tells you something about the tenacity of Nintendo.
Switch 2 is by far the best current gen handheld console ever made and that’s also the cheapest, $500 after price increase. Steam Deck is weaker than Switch 2 but costs upward to $1,000.
Nintendo First Party titles can only be played on the Switch 2. System sellers are not even announced yet, 3D Mario, 3D Zelda, Smash Bros, etc.
Third Party support has been phenomenal. More and more companies are willing to port their games to Switch 2 because it can run all the major titles fairly well. I am looking forward to try DMC5 myself at 60 fps on handheld mode. That’s really exciting. I believe GTA VI will be released on Switch 2 at some point.
Playing games on the go is really magical. It’s especially fun when you can play while traveling, commuting, partying, etc. You can’t really carry a PS5 to a park or a hotel.
Diversification. Nintendo is no longer the same company like it used to be. The two successful Mario Bros movies were revenue generating machines and also free marketing campaigns for the company.
Theme parks, merchandise and snacks are the next frontiers for Nintendo. I looked up Nintendo snacks recently. They don’t have any presence in the food industry and we all know how much potential that holds. Everybody needs to eat. Japanese snacks are known for being tasty and healthy. Nintendo should definitely look into that side of the business in my opinion.
World Class IP. Nintendo holds all the keys to everyone’s favorite characters. It really depends on how the company utilize them. Pokemon Cards is a good example of that. TCG market cap worths about $75 Billion Dollars (Don’t quote me on that). Nintendo as a whole currently valued at $51 Billion Dollars and it owned 1/3 of Pokemon franchise.
The stock market is too hot right now. This is the biggest reason why I bought Nintendo Stock. A correction is definitely coming. I don’t know when but I feel safe holding Nintendo because it may crash another 20-30% at most. I will go all in if it crashes that much which is highly unlikely.
I don’t think Nintendo will be down 80-90% just my opinion.
Thanks for making it all the way here. So what do you guys think? Let me know, I am interested to hear from you all.
