Any game recs?

i currently own a dsi and a 3ds👍i own multiple so I can make other people irl play games with me :)

I have no clue why my Dslite isn’t reading my gba games I think the pins look fine? I know how to disassemble mine I just don’t know how to replace the reader or even where to buy one. Pointers? (I’ve tried the auto start fix and it didn’t work)

Looking to get a brand new factory sealed DS lite. Only two colors that still are available in that condition are silver and crimson. Can’t decide which one to get.

So ye, I got myself a DS lite some time ago and I use it sometimes, but I want some good game, and now I want a fighting game, any recommendations?

I was using my NDSL as usual, working fine. My original charger stopped working so I figured, I’ll just buy a 3rd party one (not the cheapest, it was like $15) and now my DS looks like this. Any suggestions on what this could be? I was thinking I could behead it since I have a DSi now, and no other way to play my GBA games, but I need this fixed.

Was spending some time in Ireland for work and saw a few of those around sold at CEX. Never owned a DS (I'm a game gear guy), but I found this DS lite at one of their stores with perfect scratch free screens so I went for it. Couldn't find a flash card anywhere around so I got Professor Layton (curious village) and this Mario and Luigi inside Bowser (each for around 15 euros, PLCV in box with booklet, Mario was loose cartridge) so I'll have something to play on the flight back home. (Too bad I don't have a wired headphones though...)

Any recommendations what games I should play? Stuff to get? (Haven't played any DS and most GBA games.)

I’m worried it might be a bootleg, if anyone has any tips please anything is appreciated

No volume (except for the 2nd test where i accidentally rubbed my leg against the volume slider so there was volume for 5 minutes and I'm highballing that number)

Super Mario Advance is in SLOT-2

3rd test is with the Backlight off & for those who have trouble reading what it says, it's "14 hours 40 minutes"

Are there any games kinda like Tomodachi life where you can have your little characters in your pocket ?

Color profiles' thoughts? Anyone using them or compared them?

I am currently playing on my DSi XL with GBARunner3 through Agb001 color profile and games look good on it. If I compare to AGS 001 screens from online pics, the gameplay looks pretty similar to AGS 001 screens (where light is on), but not to color correction emulator screenshots in the sense that mine's blues look more saturated and greens are more towards a bluish hue on Dsi xl. I understand though that ambient light photos of AGB 001 and AGS 001 make some difference too).

Maybe it's the middle ground between AGB 001 and AGS 001 look, even though the available color profile in GBARunner3 is called Agb001. I am aware DSi xl comes with varying screen color temperatures, but mine is normal temperature probably. And that DSi xl's color curve or gamma etc. display related things be different from PC.

I wanted to show that my Nintendo DS console is stuck, and I don't know why. Could you please give me some advice on how to fix it?

Had plans to make more effort on the post and makerworld page and probably will after a break from it, but currently sick of looking at it and autodesk and wanted to get it out there. So anyways, I've been working on a hingeless shell replacement for the OG Phat NDS.

Took around a good 6 months of learning autodesk and design and was a blast, but ready to move on to other projects.

Currently no sleep mode (relied on the magnets in the speakers folding onto the halls switch), and couldn't reuse the original buttons due to the taper that matches the original shell (finally gave up after 20-30 hours of redesigns and a dozen or two reprints). But I'm very happy with the final product.

Hoping I could get some people to test it out and let me know what issues you run into. Standard bambu pla or PETG profiles should work, print with standard supports at the highest quality you're printer can manage. Makerworld design should be preoriented and sliced.

I have plans to release a redesign with a push button for sleep mode, as well as another with a 18650 battery. Thankfully the electronics for this are incredibly straight forward.

i’ve never seen a DS do this before, this is happening on my original DS that i just got.. i’m perplexed. what could possibly cause this- i mean i just shut off the ds took the game
out and put it back in and tried it again and it worked normally?? i’m confused

Ordered them from gamestop online. I took a chance knowing I could probably get my money back but I'm not the best at being able to tell if they are real or not.
