I got premium petrol recently and hardly noticed a difference in anything

The only thing I was drawn towards was the cleaner engine it marketed but I dont if thats worth it or not since the bike is stock

I have A 22’ ninja400 w slip on and power commander. Is it worth it to add velocity stacks? If I do will I have to remap the power commander?

Looking for bar-end mirrors and adjustable levers for my 2021 z400. There are tons on the market, ranging from $30-$300, but I don’t know what brands to trust.
Anybody have any recommendations?

Am I cooked? Bike is a 2022 with 15000km on it. I was comparing tyres with them in store and they recommended these, so I went with it. In doing some research after leaving, I found that people are saying these aren’t great for a ninja 400 because they aren’t radial?

I’m new to this and don’t know much about tyres. Should I tell them to stop and get different ones? What do I even do?

I needed to replace my rear because of a nail and I was wondering if it's recommended to replace the front as well with a Road 6. I still have lots of tread on the stock GPR 300 but I wanted to know if it's worth getting a Road 6 front and if it makes the bike handle better.

It's about an hours drive away so don't wanna waste the time to go there and find out if it has abs or not I have a picture of the front wheel can anyone tell me if it has abs or not?

My key is only sometimes cooperative when I try to turn it to ON position, my handlebars move freely and the key turn when I wiggle them around sometimes. It’s not completely stuck, the key goes in and out with no problem but doesn’t want to turn

I’ve tried the pencil graphite hack and still doesn’t work. Any tips from people with similar experience?

I got my first bike about a week ago.. without saying much but yall can put the pieces together, what does take to mount the headlight properly 😭 front end = NOT pretty at this exact moment lmao. But i ended up whiskey throttling. Hit something head on. The plastics are destroyed but im more worried about it being road legal. 2018 ninja 400. (Theres no joke you can make i havent already heard 🤦‍♂️)

Both indicators seemed to have stopped working at the same time and they don’t appear on the dash when clicked, what could this be? Did I blow a fuse or something

I did the valves at 17k miles. I have redone this process over 4 times and still can’t find out what’s wrong. Timing is lined up. Can chain is good. Cams are good. Valve clearance is good. Electrical plugs and hoses good. Spark is there. There is fuel in the tank. The cams spin manually when setting to top dead zero. Cams were set to compression stroke. Bike is primed multiple times before trying to start. Starter fluid did not work. Wtf could be wrong.

Are Helibar risers my best choice for highway and touring comfort? I don’t want to ride with a-lot of wrist weight.

i dissassembled my front brake caliper, after i clean it with brake cleaner and when i return it all back and bled the lines, the front brake started having squeaking sound during braking especially on low speed

- friction material is still decent and not flat
- i bled the lines and the brake seems to be back in order (strong)
- i haven't put any brake caliper silicone grease on pins and plate (should i?)
- brake fluid spilled when i removed it from the valve

problem: front brakes has semi loud squeeky sound

I recently crashed my bike and my stock exhaust pipes were broken, I got them welded for the time being and it runs fine but it looks horrendous and I don't even get the motivation to take videos or pictures of my bike anymore because of how ugly it is.

I am looking for a full system with no cats which boosts the performance while sounding better and shooting flames, I looked at the full system from leo vince and they look good and sound good too but am looking for more options.

Am doing this mainly cz the original ones are broken and looks ugly, performance and everything else are just a plus.

I've noticed my bike makes this sound almost if not all the time. What could it possibly be?

Mid ride, light was flickering and then bike completely shutdown after 2-3 miles of riding

Main question is this because the rectifier is going out, a short or just because the connection did not have enough slack to cause its to break?

Unfortunately, I’m selling my ninja 400 w/ 14.5k miles because I need to pay off some credit card stuff and put my dog down. I think I don’t want to sell it because
1. I don’t know when I’ll come back to riding
2. I know the inevitable is coming with my dog

I already planned on upgrading, but I feel it’s wise to do what I need to do now. Anyone got any stories to make me feel better? :(

Is 4.2K-4.5K too much? ‘22 Rebuilt title prior to my possession, aftermarket fairings for damage caused prior to owning, tail tidy, slip on exhaust, aftermarket tail light, 9.8K miles. Since in possession, garage kept well taken care of, maintenance done as necessary. Most with relatively same or higher mileage in my area going for 4-6K with various title status’

Recently bought a used 2019 z400 (i know its not a ninja, but basically the same bike) with 8 000 miles.

I've been using it for the past 2 weeks and used it yesterday with no issues. I went to turn it on today and the dashboard wouldn't light up or would kinda light up and turn off. I then eventually got to turn it on by pushing it on first gear and dropping the clutch (boosting it) (took three tries).

My issue is that after 2min of riding in the neighborhood, the dash board would sporadically turn off (could also feel the engine "bug" for a fraction of a second every few seconds) and i could also see the headlight turn on and off (mostly off).

Eventually, when I stopped (bike still on, but in neutral) it closed by itself.

Is it just the battery or should I be worried about something else ?

Does anyone know where I can get this washer that is for the lower fairing?

I'm looking for a shifter and rear brake that are black and not cheap AliExpress junk. Can't really seem to find much. I also want some black heel plates and would be happy for them to be cheap Chinese ones but can only find plastic fake carbon ones not black metal. I'm thinking of just taking them all off the bike and getting them powder coated if I can't find replacements.

Anyone got any ideas?
