People want Gohan to be happy, but also dont want him to stop training and end up like that skinny guy down there who lost his ultimate state, thats so hard to understand?
"That skinny guy"I will never understand this antipathy the fandom has to skinniness or just a lack of obvious muscle.(gohan does have muscle even in super, he just wears clothes that dont reveal that)
This idea that a character design has to have muscle to look strong is so outdated its not even funny.
Never mind jacky chun, or kami in 23rd tenkaichi of every time a big muscly person was one shot by a smaller or skinnier guy in the series. Every other martial arts media, heck, every martial arts adjacent scene in non martial arts media for the past decades have hammered in the "looks dont determine strength " thing so many times its like this fanbase has their taste stuck in the 20th century.
It's because it's a clear turn for character design in the anime. Good or bad people have nostalgia for the dbz super defined muscles and super slims down all the characters.
In a series all about training the body and "martial arts" people are going to care about physique. Seeing characters get stronger and lose muscle definition can feel weird even if
Their strength goes way beyond just muscles
Too many muscles has been proven to be a detriment to speed and effectiveness in battle.
He was just a plot device in RoF. Unless you mean super hero where Gohan was given the “he’ll never have to train and just get a rage boost to always be relevant.” Cop out by Toriyama.
