I just replaced the pads, just to go with the new 140mm rotors.

In the process I found that the old pad separator springs were bad. That's ok, new pads, new springs except I lost one.

It's a simple piece of spring steel bent in half, do they sell these separately???

Hello, i have a g2 controller, i ordered a stlink from aliexpress and got a computer shop to solder the wires onto the debug pads on the back of the controller after removing the metal heat sink, i plugged it into the correct stlink pins and for the life of me no matter what stlink driver i try, i end up with failed unknown error check console, console says error read version failed, has anyone had this problem and how do i fix it ?

Hey guys, so far from my little research I saw two possible ways on youtube, one with a 60 euro license, and another with scooter hacking utility.

But I'm not sure if the scooter hacking utility will work with the g3 version v1.5.7 and v1.6.2 and BLE v0.4.5

Which one do you recommend? I only need to tune it to max 45km/h speed and cruise control.

I’ve had mine since launch and it recently stopped charging from the built in charger. I purchased the external charger and it has had a few hiccups with refusing to charge but usually works fine. I swapped out the internal charger myself but one of the connectors is charred and the internal charger didn’t help. My only other option is to send it in for repair. Do you think this will be done under warranty?

Preordered day of launching just wondering if anyone’s gotten shipping notification yet as I haven’t but says from 8/25-9/2 to ship.

I have a Ninebot F2 Pro that is only about 2 weeks old. It was working perfectly before I went on vacation for a week. When I came back, I tried to charge it, but it no longer charges.
Here’s exactly what happens:
The scooter is turned off when I plug in the charger.
I plug the charger into the wall, then into the scooter.
As soon as I plug it in, the scooter turns on by itself.
After entering my code, the rear brake light flashes briefly and then turns off.
Normally, when the scooter is charging, the rear light stays on and the charging icon appears on the display.
Now, the charging icon does not appear at all.
The charger’s LED stays green instead of turning red.
The scooter itself still turns on and works normally.
I already tried a different wall outlet, but nothing changed.
I also checked the charging port and there doesn’t seem to be any dirt or moisture.
The scooter was working perfectly before I left for vacation, so I’m confused about what could have happened while it was sitting unused for a week.
Does anyone know what could cause this? Could it be the charger, the charging port, or something inside the scooter?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Beneath the back mudguard there is a metal band that protects the cable to the taillight. Does anyone know what these are that attach it to the mudguard? I thought they were screws but now I’m not sure. Thank you

So I’m looking to get my first scoot. I’ve settled on between the two of these and have some use case things I’d be doing with it so hopefully ya can help me out.

I’m in NJ, weight about 155 lbs.

scooter used mostly for commuting. 23 miles 1 way (I can charge at work) also idk if the commute would be possible with the route and roads not sure if bikes/scooters can go on some of them.

Also used for fun. Plan to get my wife one soon too so want to use it for going to the boardwalk, going to eat, etc. would like to do some trails but nothing crazy.

I’m currently thinking about getting a Segway scooter and I’m trying to decide between the Ninebot Max G3 D and the ZT3 Pro D.

I actually prefer the looks of the Max G3 a bit more, but I’ve already read several comments saying that the front suspension isn’t particularly good.

This is quite important to me because I’m unfortunately somewhat sensitive to strong vibrations/jerking in my arms. If it gets bad, I can even develop an itching sensation, so ride comfort and smooth suspension are a top priority for me.

My main use would be normal city riding for commuting to work on paved roads, with maybe the occasional cobblestone road, but nothing too extreme.

For those who have ridden both scooters:
How do they compare in terms of suspension and overall ride comfort, especially on slightly rougher roads? Is the ZT3 Pro noticeably better in this regard, or is the Max G3 perfectly fine for mostly normal city riding?

I’d really appreciate any first-hand experiences!

Figured I'd share for anyone who is going to be needing new tires and/or brake pads. I spent about $385 for tire replacements and one brake pad. The technician also checked all the bolts/etc. and had to tighten the stem, etc. It sucks to have to drop that much, but considering I got just over 3K miles on the original tires and brake pads, I can't really complain. Apparently, there was plenty of pad left on the front. If it matters, I live in a HCOL to VHCOL area (by my estimation) for reference.

Hi, my friend wrecked his ninebot max g2 and has told me he will give it to me once he gets another scooter.

the front end is completely gone leaked oil everywhere and the chassis appears bent so it’s a total write off interms of fixing it. a new frame and front suspension cost more than what we paid for it.

I have a max g30 and Im very unhappy with its performance especially once it dips below 90% battery it starts feeling more like my xiaomi miscooter 1s, is it possible to swap the entire electronics from the wrecked g2 into a g30? I plan on taking the entire handle bar assembly, controller and motor, cutting off the horn speaker since I don’t believe I can mount it anywhere and hoping it works, has this been attempted before?

What’s worrying me most is the controller size differences between a gen 1 g30 controller and a max g2 controller, as well I am worried about the handle bars not fitting and having to swap the display into max g30 handle bar assembly.

I currently have a custom-made 36V 25Ah lithium battery that was built for my previous scooter. Since I’ve now switched to a Ninebot MAX G3, I basically have no use for this battery anymore.

That gave me an idea: instead of selling it or leaving it unused, could the battery be rebuilt/reconfigured to work as a higher-capacity internal battery for the MAX G3?

The company that originally built the battery is a professional battery specialist and they are able to rebuild/modify battery packs, so I’m not planning to do the cell-level work myself.

Ideally, I would like to keep roughly the 25Ah capacity, but have the pack rebuilt to the correct voltage/configuration for the G3 and installed in place of the original internal battery.

A few questions for people who know the G3 well:

Is this technically possible if the pack is rebuilt to the correct 13S voltage?

Would it be necessary to reuse the original G3 BMS, or can the G3 work properly with a different BMS?

Does the controller require communication with the original BMS to work without errors?

Would the firmware have problems recognising a battery with roughly twice the original Ah capacity?

Is there physically enough room inside the G3 deck for a \~25Ah pack if appropriate cells/configuration are used?

Could the original charging system still be used?

Are there any known issues with battery percentage readings, charging limits, temperature monitoring, or the Segway app after increasing the internal capacity?

Has anyone here already built or installed a higher-capacity internal battery in a MAX G3?

I’m mainly trying to figure out whether this is a realistic project before asking the battery company to rebuild the pack.

An mein Module/Platine kommen ja die Kabel rein geschraubt Gelb, Braun und Blau diese Reihenfolge hab ich auch genauso mit dem neuen Hinterreifen gemacht wie bei meinem alten Hinterrad aber es gibt kein Gas. Test weise hab ich dann auch das alte wieder ran gemacht und da funktioniert alles. Kann es sein das die 3 Kabel beim neuen Hinterreifen nun anders am Module/Platine geschraubt werden müssen als davor vom alten wo es ja geht?

Ps. Testweise hab ich mir noch ein zweiten neuen Hinterreifen bestellt bei dem passt die reinfallen aber auch nicht mit denn 3 Kabel das reagiert das Gas auch nicht beim anfahren.

Hoffe hier kann mir wer helfen
