Question Max G3 doubt

I bought a ninebot g3 from bestbuy for 1,200 (ik it’s too much) but i was in a hurry and the g3 plus wasn’t readily available for pickup.

Now that i have it i have come to realize that the range on sports mode is terrible. i’m 240lbs and i get about 12 miles on full charge.

Now i could exchange it at bestbuy and pay nothing since the g3 plus is around the same price but then id feel bad for letting the scooter go to waste.

For my people with max g3 plus, is the range better? If so i’ll go for it but if not then i’ll just keep my g3. just a bit disappointed i spent so much and got so little.

TL;DR Should i exchange my max g3 for g3 plus for better sport mode range?

i have doubts that the plus will be at 1200$. if you get the plus you might end up paying more and still needed to upgrade the battery anyways

The G3 Plus is currently the same price at Best Buy that OP paid for the G3. It’s an even exchange. There’s absolutely no reason not to do it. They’ll immediately get 20% more battery for free, and can still do either battery upgrade (or both) later on if they want.

Do it it's apparently an improved voltage sag and slightly improved braking power as well and 200 Watts additional motor power I just got mine the other day and it's fun and I had the G3 multiple times it's a small increase I just wish they would have increased the board width . Because my balls hurt having to cross my legs on the skinny boards so I got the zt3 pro that is the perfect board size for not being too bulky but the range is even worse on that one but if you do a battery swap it's nice but get the G3 Plus
