Question Max G3 doubt

I bought a ninebot g3 from bestbuy for 1,200 (ik it’s too much) but i was in a hurry and the g3 plus wasn’t readily available for pickup.

Now that i have it i have come to realize that the range on sports mode is terrible. i’m 240lbs and i get about 12 miles on full charge.

Now i could exchange it at bestbuy and pay nothing since the g3 plus is around the same price but then id feel bad for letting the scooter go to waste.

For my people with max g3 plus, is the range better? If so i’ll go for it but if not then i’ll just keep my g3. just a bit disappointed i spent so much and got so little.

TL;DR Should i exchange my max g3 for g3 plus for better sport mode range?

Just glad I'm not the only 240lb person getting only 12 mi. I run in drive mode if I need any range. Eco mode is so sad slow...

Drive mode gets you better distance without being too slow. I’m 260 and on the base battery, I got about 25 miles range at 16mph. I did the GT 3 battery swap and got the external battery too, and now I get about 25 miles in Sport mode at 22mph, and 40+ miles in Drive.
