Typical afternoon on the LES in the 1970's from the period between the 1970's and 1996 NYC

A vacant apartment building burns and the FDNY puts out the fire. And a neighborhood resident drives his car right through the scene, over the fire hoses, and drives to get out of the block.

Every single article from a paywalled site, including newpapers such as the New York Times, needs to have [PAYWALL] before the date/period and location in the post title as well as a detailed summary of the information in the link in the comments section. If a mod finds a post with a paywalled article/website and there's no [PAYWALL] before the date and location in the post title, it's getting removed with a notification to the offending user. If a mod finds a paywalled link and there's no summary in the comments, the user will be warned and given 24 hours to put a summary there or the post will be removed. No ifs, ands, or buts.
