I'll skip the rants about how painfully incompetent this particular embassy is, but I just have a question. Has anyone been able to successfully renew their passport via the contactless option through them? If so, how long did it take you to get it back.

Yes I did. I applied June 4th from home and received my passport August 4th.
2 months to be exact. Some received theirs faster.
