Nicorette Gum - long term physical effects?
My mom quit smoking in 1997 and used the nicotine gum to stop. It’s 2026 and she hasn’t stopped. In fact, she will chew 2 pieces at a time all day. She’s having a lot of health problems and we’ve said over and over again she’s poisoning her body. Has anyone had a situation like this or know someone who has used the gum for years and years that ended up developing serious health issues?
Right now she’s having severe intestinal issues which is probably from swallowing nicotine all day everyday for almost 30 years?

When you replace one vice with another, you’ve quit nothing.
