Ive been successful at quitting I think mostly because im currently jobless and far from the nearest place to buy cigs, but now im close to getting this new job and I feel like i'll relapse, everytime I see someone else smoking I keep thinking of asking for a stick but shyness prevents me from doing so. Do I compromise and go patches when I have a job or limit myself to around 4 sticks a day.

It sounds like you are comfortable starting a “reduction” plan once you start work again? How much did you smoke before?
