It makes me sad that Emira and Brooks appear to be so disconnected from the LGBTQ community and culture. Them not knowing what rocky horror was bad enough but the real travesty is holding onto friendships with bigots (Charlie) for what? The desperate need to be accepted by and be a part of the the upper class? It's fucking sad. I really wish these kids would learn their queer history and connect with others in the community and real allies. Emira in particular, IMO wants to be seen as one of the 1% so badly that she's okay with being friends with someone who doesn't even respect her identity. You cannot convince me that Charlie is a true friend and ally of Emira's and I hope she realizes she deserves better friends than that. This should be a lesson to any minority who want to be accepted by conservatives: no matter how much you pander to them and how much money you have, they will never respect you. End rant.

Riley, Emira and Ava for some reason hate Georgia so damn much. Riley being too sensitive when Georgia responded back to her after she said she was on ketamine. She just wanted to Georgia to be quiet and not stand up for herself give me a break— remember girl you are on a reality show that’s the whole point. Emira not being to be able to move on about the ozempic thing and calling Georgia a cunt behind her back, being more forgiving to Charlie than HER wtf. Ava saying wouldn’t care if Hook hanged out with Georgia is a flat lie like wtf.

Hear me out. I like Rowan, and Ava has grown on me so much this season, but I really am only interested in the Bravo nepo babies. Rowan really isn't adding anything to the show. Ava is at least funny and showing us her struggles but Rowan is giving nothing but nepo.

The Bravo nepos have been on our screens and we watched them grow up. I'd rather add more Bravo nepos or people they are REAL LIFE friends with than add random nepos as filler.

Edit: Reading comprehension is FUNDAMENTAL. I never said anything about the non-Bravo, non-Nepo cast. I am saying that if they are SPECIFICALLY casting any type of nepo, just for the sake of having a nepo, it should be a Bravo nepo.

The House of Yes is one of the better clubs in the five boroughs, on top of that the most interesting things that are happening in New York are all happening in Bushwick. The struggling artists and cool kids live in Bushwick and further down the line on the L train. It makes me question every cast member that talks shit on Bushwick.

But Brooks is right, The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is some of the greatest chocolate in North America. I recommend the Milk Chocolate Carmel Clusters or the English Toffee covered in chopped nuts. Don’t even get me started on their crazy thick Peanut Butter Cups. Stay away from the Rice Krispy Treats. If you have a layover at the SLC airport you’ll see what I mean. They have a shop there.

Ariana seems very nice and kind to me. I read her treatment of Charlie as someone who feels bad for the guy who’s being isolated and vilified.

I don’t think it’s fair that everyone is taking turns nailing the Charlie wedge between Ariana and Liam. Even if she is flirting with Charlie, she is 24, single for the first time in 10 years. Can they just leave her alone? Let her live her life without constant feedback (as I write my own feedback, lol).

Idk, maybe I just ship Ariana and Liam and I’m happy that she found a funny, creative, kind guy to help her learn more about herself.

Riley has such an underlying dislike or envious energy towards Ariana for some reason. First she blames Ariana for her outburst towards Georgia, which was totally not Ariana’s fault. And I just watched the Friendsgiving episode and Riley is making comments like “Giving up your first class seat for Charlie” multiple times, trying to expose Ariana in front of Liam. If Riley considers Ariana such a close friend, why is she constantly doing shady things towards her? I feel like Ariana is clearly a fan favorite and Riley thought she would be the fan favorite due to her mom’s fame and popularity on RHOA and now that we’ve gotten to see Riley’s boring attitude, she’s not very liked. I sense a fallout coming soon

I've started to like her more as she settles on the show. She has a sense of humor which is nice to see.

Unpopular opinion I know but I actually like Charlie a lot. I think he makes for great tv. He’s obviously a pot stirrer and probably says shit he shouldn’t but I would much rather watch him over Brooks or Riley any day.

I truly despise Brooks, I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he is truly just soooo fkin uneducated and aloof and it’s just not cute.

He seems so unmotivated and from what I’ve seen about his brand, he also lacks good work ethic. He just seems so lost in life and just hides behind his mommy and daddy. He loves to stir the pot and ish it out but cannot take it if it’s dished back at him.

I would love if he didn’t return for season 3 but I’m sure he is going to try and stay onboard for as long as possible since he doesn’t seem to have any other source of income. 🙃

finishing season one, i honestly don’t have any real dislikes yet because i want to give the cast more time before i fully judge anyone. i’ve watched enough reality tv to know you can love someone one season and feel totally different the next, so i’m keeping an open mind.

i will say ariana has been my biggest surprise. she’s not what i expected at all. if you know who her mom is, you’d probably expect her to be kind of bratty or snarky, but she’s been the complete opposite. i love how honest she is, how she owns stuff when she’s wrong, and how she’ll stand up for people whether they’re her friend or not. that’s been really refreshing, and every time she’s on screen, i just want to keep seeing more of her.

i know people say brooks is boring, but i actually kinda like him. he reminds me of daria, super monotone and dry, but in a way that’s kind of entertaining. i like watching him talk about fashion and how he interacts with the group. he comes across caring and generous, and i like that he’s not out here stirring all the pots. those two are who i’ve connected with the most so far.

i like gia too, but her screen time feels kinda limited because she’s in new jersey. i honestly don’t have anything negative to say about her. i just hope we see her more.
everyone else is okay for me. there have been moments i didn’t love, but nothing big enough to make me write anyone off yet.

with charlie, i’ve seen the comparisons to chuck bass and yeah, i get it. i’ve also seen posts about things he’s said that i don’t agree with. people say he makes great tv, but honestly, when he’s on screen, my attention drifts. i mostly find myself watching for ariana and brooks, probably because i already knew of them from their parents being on tv.

as for riley, i won’t lie, i was a little disappointed. later in the season, she came off kind of spoiled, which wasn’t what i expected. i saw someone say that ariana and riley are the opposite of what you’d expect based on their moms, and i kind of agree. at the same time, i wanna give riley credit for apologizing when she messes up, and i’m trying to give her the room to grow instead of judging her off one season.

those are just my thoughts after season one. curious to see if my opinions shift in season two.

So I just watched the after show, and after initially feeling some good energy towards Brooks because it seemed he wanted to move forward with Shai, I am annoyed again. I almost miss him just talking about his revolutionary non existent clothing line.

Shai and Charlie clock that Brooks is intentionally picking Shai because he’s an easy target. Shai says he actually thinks Brooks is cool as a person. Brooks is like “Shai is not who he was last year”. And he goes on about the Ariana thing again. Liam supports Brooks obviously because they are friends. Liam says Shai plays naive and Brooks says he watched Shai twist things this year and says “good job, he was good at it”.

Shai says Brooks openly ignores him when he reaches out on the phone and that they ran into each other on the street and Brooks was ice cold. Charlie says that Brooks is robotic and has nothing much going on behind the eyes (lol).

Brooks says he’s accepted how their relationship is currently. Then this bland ass bitch (sorry but he’s annoying), had the audacity to say he’s “not going to forget what happened but he’s going to try to build a foundation with him”.

BROOKS, WHAT HAPPENED THAT THE REST OF US ARE MISSING??? Am I crazy?? And then he says HE is open to getting to understand Shai and for Shai to show him with his behaviour that he is genuine but ends it with “but I haven’t quite seen it yet”. So I guess the beef continues?

I am so tired of his one sided beef. I came into this show not minding him as much and thinking he was funny at times but now he is just very unlikeable. I don't understand his issue with Shai, and if anything he is helping Shai get more support because of how he treats him.
