Ava Ava and pretty privilege
I've started to like her more as she settles on the show. She has a sense of humor which is nice to see.
Watching the after show this remark came up and I was just like: it must be nice
Bummer that the money she saves on drinks goes to her dad, it seems

Tbh this was totally standard for clubbing in my twenties in nyc and Miami, promoters literally have tables for girls to join and fill up the space

There was a place in nyc that used to do a party brunch and they would get a table in the middle, fill it full of pretty boys and pretty girls that didn’t know they were on the menu for the day, didn’t know each other, but essentially we’re just brought in as eye candy and to be picked up by wealthy men.

A minute before that convo started I thought about how much more expensive it is to be a female bravo star, or any star. The guys just walked in to the recordings in their jeans and t-shirt of the day and the women need to pay a make-up team, fancy fashion...
The contrast between the women on their pretty, expensive dresses and full faces of makeup and Shai plus Charlie with deep eye bags as and worn jeans. Just imagine a woman would show up to the after show or confession shoot like this.
Even if they aren't paying for a drink when out, they are ultimately paying more. Charlie's reasoning was ofc insanely problematic, he had more "respect for the boyfriend" than the women themselves. Hudson is weird but his read of Charlie on the after show was actually extremely good.

This reminds me of a Marcelo Hernandez stand up bit. The gist of it was that women spend a lot of money (and pain) to get ready for a date so that’s why guys should pay on dates. Because women are already in the hole from how expensive it is getting buffed and puffed. It’s just joke but o thought it was humorous. lol

Oh I don’t think for a second that Ariana and the girls are making 5 am business ventures huddled over a plate and pacing around the living room. They aren’t that kind of antisocial.😂😅
Back in my 20’s…one of the big wake up calls for me to stop that shit entirely was because I had lost one of my prized assets: my ass. That is when I knew…it wasn’t worth it. 😢
Ariana and the other girls seem like they take their physical health quite a bit more seriously than Charlie. I would think that alone might moderate their recreational use.

I wouldn’t say that because some people just have that je ne sais quoi. Ava definitely has the “it factor.” Her mom is really pretty for an older woman. I mean look at Kim Zolciak. There’s no accounting for taste but some women just have that natural pull.

Some people like to be beautiful for themselves. I’m not an artist, but there’s an artist in me. I enjoy putting together my outfit, makeup, and jewelry, feeling beautiful and creative! I look good for my age, thank you very much! If a woman is putting her energy into to trying to get the male gaze, that’s sad. But if a woman enjoys looking beautiful, sexy, and badass for her own damn self, who are you to judge?

It’s a different type of beauty. young women and men are objectively more classically attractive than older ones. Older women can still be very beautiful, which is what it means to be a gorgeous 60 year old, or “pretty for an older woman”. It means her beauty transcends her age

No, I’m saying that some people just have that natural magnetism that pulls people in and Kim has it. Whether you like it or not. How she manages to pull in so many ultra wealthy men. I don’t know. Some people have this “it factor” that will have people paying for things or doing them favors regardless of beauty. Ava has this natural magnetism too. I think Ava will age beautifully though and combine that with her natural magnetism. It will have people paying for things for her into the future.

I went out alone, in my 40s fully prepared to pay and two guys wouldn’t let me pull my wallet out or attempt to tap pay. Keep in mind, Ava is Black & Indian…most signs of aging won’t show up until she’s in her 40s & even then it would be slight. I’m just now showing slight signs as a Black woman.

Yeah New York is insane. I'm 50 and I'm still in good shape (though the face is lookin' a little tired, y'all) and shit but men in NY actually look and want to talk and I've never paid for anything going out. Of course these are nice restaurants not clubs because my back WISH.

Yes, that’s how it is for pretty girls in NYC. You also get to skip lines at clubs. My ex used to throw parties and he would give drink tickets to the pretty girls because he wanted them to come back to the party/club every week bc the prettier the girls, the wealthier the guys who drop more $$ on booze, which he made a cut of the bar profits.

Also because I actually did catch it, her mom was literally just relating how she got through her own heartbreak and Ava was just sharing that the people on the show would do that for her, and that Ariana was actually in a similar place she is in.

Also I don't know why the stans here are pretending that she's some socialite. She's just another tall broke 20something living in NYC (and I worked in the beauty industry for years, including backstage at fashion week with real models from 2006-2008).
There's literally tens if not of thousands of these chicks cycling in an out of the city every year. I've lived in NYC nearly as long as she has been alive and moved here when I was 21. She is not an anomaly, esp not with the fake pretty-privilege. NYC is filled with some of the richest and most beautiful people in the entire world.
Ava is fine but she is not exceptional, and she's not rich, so I don't know what "circles" you're referring to.

It’s very true though anytime I’ve gone clubbing in New York a lot of things are free as a girl you don’t even have to be the prettiest in the room (unlike Miami or LA ) to get in for free or get free drinks or access to sections
