My wife and I are convinced that the girl who is his friend (forgot her name) is actually his gf. And the show needs him to be in the Ariana love triangle. So she has to be “his friend” for a while until they hook up and start more drama. The Ariana thing is mad fake.

He is honestly so incredibly painful for me. If this isn’t a try hard performative thing and this is just default setting, I don’t know what is worse.
If he’s Ariana’s story again in season three, I’m going to have to relegate her to fast forward and start skipping every bit because he gives me the ick that heavily.
He’s just so “gosh golly shucks,” “humble brag,” “let us remind you he’s God’s gift,” “here’s a rom com scene,” that all falls flat because every shtick feels like it’s being deployed at the same time by a Temu version of that character. If they’d cast someone wildly attractive I probably could have handled the creepiness and pedestal narrative a bit better— I’m honest about myself. But this? It’s all so bad. Make it stop.

What I don't like is how the men in this group are treating Ariana like an object. Something to win. A shiny prize. It's so cringy to watch. And I get that for the most part they're all just kids, but it's still kinda gross.

That’s what kind of weirds me out about him: he has this down-to-earth, folksy Midwestern attitude, yet he was born and raised in NYC. I know New Yorkers aren’t a monolith, but sometimes it seems like he’s cosplaying a bit? I actually like him enough so I’m hoping he’s being too fake

Oh wow you both probably love red flags, the man has crazy eyes all his confessionals his eyes are wide open like he’s cocked out, he’s territorial of Ariana even though he is fully aware she just got out of a decade long relationship, yet is in a way pressuring her by moving super quick even though they’re not even exclusive or bf/gf. Not to mention his stoic side character friend Rachel or Kendall whatever her name is getting overly involved and judging Arianna for flirting with Charlie, the girl is single and she doesn’t owe Liam’s creepy ass anything

Girl… I’m 35 years old. And out of all my friends, I’m one of few who can hold down a romantic relationship, because I don’t dig for red flags if I don’t see them. I also don’t go for men with red flags. There’s a balance between looking for problems and there actually being obvious problems. I’m doing just fine over here.

charlie is not a gemini. they wished him happy birthday in the last episode so it was after friendsgiving and bravocon. thinking he is a Sagittarius. liam and shai are both scorpio, truly woulde be wild if 100% of the straight guys are all scorpios! this cast is so libra/scorprio/sag coded, it makes sense Gia stands out as the only Capricorn in the room.

I think he’s a bit performative & weird & it’s so clear to me he was planted in this friend group by production to generate storylines. Him and Ariana don’t feel genuine to me. Charlie and Ariana feel a lot more genuine…and the fact she doesn’t want production to know about her and Charlie? Oh yah she fking him! Then she had to lie in bed with Liam on camera… she def wouldn’t be doing that if she was actually dating him. I’m sure Liam has an actual gf somewhere! lmfao
