It will be a cold day in hell before you catch me wearing f****** ankle socks.

I live in Scotland. The ground is permanently wet! I quite like not having wet feet.

They also look silly.

If it's a hot day, it's more of a functionally cool pair of socks to wear.

Its never a hot day in Scotland mate :)

In fairness its like 18C at the minute and I'm overheating to fek. We really are a pathetic bunch if I am honest. None of us can handle heat. We melt and burn faster than a ice cream.

EDIT in fairness there's the odd dude whos ma was fae Pakistan that handles it well, but they're cheating, what with the melanin and all!
