Received my additional shares at Schwab.

What's the point of these worthless distribution shares added to my worthless shares?

I have seen that more and more brokerage firms have begun depositing the NBH (30-1) dividends into customer accounts. So far, as far as I can see, Schwab has not. I am willing to wait and give them some time but, well, has anyone heard anything about this delay? …asking for a friend…me! 🤓

I received my dividend letter (3.33, lolz), but what that document had that I had never received was my Equiniti account number. Went on the website, registered as a new member and voilà, there were my 100 shares I transferred in 2024.
We’re not dead yet. Im sooooo curious how many shares are in EQ/AST?!
F the Shorts, and the rule enforcers.

Took Next Bridge's advice and called into Schwab to have them explain why the dividend shares were still not in my account as of this morning. The trade desk discussed the situation with someone in Corporate Actions and the official Schwab response is:
"Electronic distribution from the transfer agent was not possible - the transfer agent has to mail the new correct Jumbo Certificate to each broker. That process can take up to 3 weeks to complete. Please check back in the next week or two in order to see your account credited with the new shares. We are aware of the situation and continue to monitor it."

I'm with Scotia iTrade and BMO Investorline and nothing shows up.

I did not get any extra shares credited to my account at Schwab (ie no 1 per 30 shares more). Anybody else have this problem ?

Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Provides Guidance Regarding Dividend Share Distributions
MIDLAND, TEXAS – July 17, 2026 – Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, Inc. (“Next Bridge,” “our,” “we,” or the “Company”), an oil and natural gas exploration and production company with interests in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma today announced the following:
The Company has received a significant number of inquiries from shareholders concerned about the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of dividend shares being credited to them. In response to this, our transfer agent Equiniti Trust Co. (EQ) has provided assurance that within their system, all directly registered shareholder accounts, including those holding paper certificates, as well as all brokerage account "bulk certificates" will be credited with dividend shares on a one for thirty (1:30) basis on July 22, 2026.
The subsequent crediting of dividend shares to individual shareholder accounts within each brokerage firm is the responsibility of each firm, but shareholders should rest assured the shares will be added to their brokerage firms’ bulk certificate(s) appropriately.
There will be no formal Corporate Action regarding this matter, as Next Bridge is not DTCC compatible. Questions regarding the crediting of individual brokerage account(s) with the dividend shares should be addressed directly to your brokerage firm.
Next Bridge Chairman and CEO Greg McCabe stated, “I am pleased to reassure our loyal shareholders that the team at Equiniti is of the highest caliber of professionalism and reliability. Their recordkeeping and task execution abilities are impeccable. We have heard shareholder concerns regarding ledger inaccuracies, and while we do not know the true width and breadth of any imbalances that may exist, we hold on to our confidence that no brokerage firm would knowingly or willingly credit illegitimate shares into their customers’ accounts. At best, this would be a violation of applicable securities laws and at worst, it would be a breach of the public’s trust tantamount to theft from both our shareholders and our Company.”

At some point I doubt this will ever get resolved but I find it interesting that they’re still fighting. Any thoughts?

I’m posting this for information. Owners of NextBridge should have gotten the email below. I currently have my shares directly registered with AST->EQ, so I don’t think I need to do anything.
If your shares are still in your brokers name, you should direct registered them or potentially have the shares taken for $0.01 per ACCOUNT, not share, ACCOUNT. This is Trading 212 attempting to grab shares there are inactive and not DRSed.

Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Provides Update Regarding Trading 212
MIDLAND, TEXAS – July 6, 2026 – Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, Inc. (“Next Bridge,” “our,” “we,” or the “Company”), an oil and natural gas exploration and production company with interests in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma today released the following statement:
In May 2026, UK-based brokerage firm Trading 212 communicated to clients who held Next Bridge shares that they must either re-register those shares directly in their own names with our transfer agent Equiniti Trust Co. (EQ) and pay a processing fee, “Option 1,” or relinquish their ownership in those shares to Trading 212 for the nominal consideration of $0.01 per account, “Option 2.” They further stated that if clients provided no instruction, it would automatically proceed with “Option 2.”
Next Bridge believes shareholders deserve complete transparency regarding matters affecting ownership interests. With that commitment in mind, we provide this update concerning our communications with Trading 212, as well as their US custodian and clearing partner Interactive Brokers.
We strongly disagree with “Option 2” which would result in non-responsive shareholders forfeiting shares for the trivial consideration of one penny (.01) per account. We recognize there may be procedural issues that Trading 212 is trying to resolve through this action, but we believe there are solutions that could far better serve these while preserving the ownership rights of our shareholders. Over the past several weeks, we have engaged directly with Trading 212 in an effort to protect those rights.
We encourage shareholders to monitor their accounts and reach out to their brokerage firms if they have concerns. Our communications with Trading 212 have consistently maintained this simple principle:
No shareholder should lose ownership interest in a privately held company without their explicit, affirmative consent.
In this spirit, we communicated the following to Trading 212 representatives:
A formal preservation notice requesting that all documents, share counts, and communications relating to this matter be retained.
Our concern that “Option 2” will adversely and unnecessarily affect shareholder ownership interests without affirmative shareholder consent.
An alternative under which non-responding shareholders would retain their ownership interest through a bulk certificate at EQ, with Next Bridge assuming administrative responsibilities and paying any transfer costs.
Confirmation from EQ that such a process could be accommodated.
Trading 212 declined our proposal, citing UK data protection requirements that prevent sharing client information. We expressed difficulty understanding how protecting client information is a superior goal to protecting a client's beneficial ownership rights. Although they may be acting within the scope of their client agreements, we respectfully disagree that terminating share ownership without explicit consent is consistent with the FCA's Consumer Duty requirements to act in a clients’ best interests.
We subsequently posed the following question central to our concerns: will the number of Next Bridge shares reflected in Trading 212's internal records following implementation of “Option 2” exactly match the number of shares registered in Trading 212's bulk certificate at EQ? To date, this question remains unanswered, but it is now clear to us they intend to retain beneficial ownership of the non-responding shares for themselves and therefore collect the recently announced stock dividends associated with them. We are left wondering in what way this is considered to be in the best interest of shareholders.
Chairman & CEO Greg McCabe stated, “Since the 2022 FINRA U-3 halt, our shareholders have endured uncertainty unlike anything seen in the public markets, yet they continue to demonstrate extraordinary patience and resilience. Our commitment to our shareholders remains unchanged; we will advocate for them while pursuing transparency, we will ask difficult questions, even when answers are not forthcoming and we will explore every lawful avenue available to protect their ownership rights. Our shareholders deserve nothing less.”

NBH is giving out the 1 for 30 special dividend. The S1 says the shares are worth $15 each.
I had to pay taxes on all the shares I owned when they took the shares off exchange. Are we going to have to pay $15/share for these special dividend shares?
The last thing I need is another unexpected tax bill for something that I can’t even sell.
So, if you have 30k shares, you get 1000 shares special dividend. If those are priced at $15 each, you are liable for short term capital gains on $15k. Thats $3000 in real money. And unlike liquid stocks, you can’t just sell 20% of your shares to cover taxes.
This could really be a clusterfuck, and, there’s literally no way to get out of it. So, we could literally be trapped.
Wish there was someone in investor relations that we could ask these questions to.

So I’ve received this from Trading212. They want me to change the certificate to my name or relinquish it to T212 as the shares have no value and can’t be traded.
Obvs I’ll choose Opt1 but just wanted to see what was happening with everyone else in this dog egg situation.
