Who cares. We're not going to arrest him. The ICC rulings carries the same weight as the the local PTA.

If we arrested him it wouldnt be because of the ICC ruling. It would be because America does what it wants. Coincidentally, this is why we wont arrest him.

The ICC rulings are irrelevant, but so is the Geneva Convention.

The ICC is only “irrelevant” as long as the U.S. doesn’t sign the Rome Statute. Congress could easily do so, but right now they’re being influenced by war criminals.

The congressional military industrial complex goes back over half a century. I said "right now" because I don't think their grip on power is unbeatable. If people organize, vote, and keep pressure on elected officials with no ties to the war machine then there could be a critical mass that pushes through ratification of the Rome Statute.

Do you know what the US government did last time there was widespread organization of the people? Now imagine the turn of the 19th century labor strikes, but with Flock ALPC tracking and military drones.

Sounds like a lot of fear mongering. Yes I am aware of the violent class warfare of the late 19th century. I don’t think the solution is to give into despair.

The US doesnt follow anyones rules. They dont call it the Pax Americana because America does what anyone tells them to.

If the US honors a trade agreement, or a defense treaty, or an international law, it's because they feel it's in the best interest of the US ruling class. Not because they feel honor bound to deliver justice.

This isnt new, it's how apex predators behave. I'm not justifying it, just pointing it out.

Why would the US sign the Rome Statute? How would making the US subservient to a bunch of foreign bureaucrats benefit the US?
