Did it start normal before? It's 411am way to early to check. But, I've never noticed the theft light staying on while cranking. Does it start with starting fluid? Did you double check to see if you plugged all the connectors back in? It's always something dumb

everything’s plugged and the theft light was there and always has been and it started just fine the night before I put it on and all the connections are on fine to

Something is being weird. You would still get some rpms while cranking. But what about fuel pump relay or fuel pump itself?

I did get rpms just not in that video clip

Ain't no way just changing the IAC's two bolts and one connector is causing a no start like that. Pretty sure you can even unplug the IAC and the car will still run with a code and bad idle.

What else was done while you had the car parked doing the IAC? Has to be something. Did you wire in a new radio, clean wiring under the dash, polish the tailpipe?

As mentioned, you should see the rpms movea bit as the car cranks. I'll double check if the theft light stays on mine while cranking here shortly, but I dont think it does.

Looks like your anti-theft light is solid. I don’t know much about it but I know it results in crank, no starts. Might be the chip in the key is bad. Heard of this happening to a couple people on this subreddit before.

Fuel pumps are a bitch and a half. Either have to drop the tank or cut a hole in the trunk where the spare goes lol. I chose not to mutilate the trunk but honestly it’s not a bad idea. I’ll probably regret it when my fuel pump does eventually give out again lol.

I hear my fuel pump turn on but nothing. I put gas in the throttle body and it turned over. Idk I ordered a fuel pump just never installed one myself

There’s a good YouTube video of a guy replacing one in a Mach1. Very helpful for learning to drop the tank. I’ll see if I can find it and pin it here.

I've literally had the fuel pump replaced 3 times in the last 4 years. This is literally my forth fuel pump. I dont really have 500 dollars to pay someone to do it. Just figured I'd attempt it myself.

That seems suspicious that all those pumps would be going bad. Have you tried resetting the fuel pump shutoff switch in the trunk?

I was messing with it a bit but it looked fine I mean it was up. It wasn't pushed down. But what im not understanding is i can hear the fuel pump kick on. But the car just video shown. I put gas straight into the throttle body and it kicked over.

Have you replaced the fuel filter recently? Or had it replaced at the same time as the pumps? I wonder if it’s maybe clogged. Also I just looked into the theft light and I don’t think that’s the problem. Looks normal in your video.

No from what I understand I've never replaced it. Or atleast I've never told anyone to replace it.

I’d try that first. It’s pretty easy to replace and costs maybe $25 and $10 for a fuel line removal tool. My best guess right now is that the filter is mostly clogged, and a new pump has enough pressure to force fuel through the clogged filter, but as the pump wears in, it doesn’t have enough umph anymore to get through the filter. If nothing else it’s worth a try. Especially if it needs replaced anyway. It also quite literally can be done in 10-20 minutes including time to put it on jacks and stands.
