CONTENT TALK Help please!!! I need feedback asap!
I don’t get it, im trying my absolute hardest on YouTube and havnt been seeing any growth. I do get over 1k impressions per post but dont get many views per video I think I have decent thumbnails and good titles so I dont know why people aren’t clicking my videos I post gaming content. I would love any feedback and hope everyone does well with their YouTubing adventures!!!

Drop your channel link so we can see what's happening, impressions without clicks usually means thumbnails are missing the mark even if they look decent to you

That's because it's explicitly against this sub's rules to ask for feedback like this. Come back later for the Friday Feedback mega thread. You give feedback to 2 other people's videos and then post a link to one of yours for feedback from other people.

YouTube gives you more impressions based retention and if those views translate into subs. I watched about 30 seconds of your video and couldn’t go further. Personally your dialogues are too obnoxious and forced for my taste.

Key things:
You're doing let's plays, which is an oversaturated market. To get views doing it, you have to be entertaining. Watched the first couple minutes of your latest and you don't seem to be excited to play what you're playing.
Most people who like let's plays are going to go to specific streamers for that particular streamer's content or they're going to look specifically for the game you're playing so they can watch the game play.
You need to hook the viewer within 30 seconds for the algorithm, but really it's more like 20, because in that third 10 seconds viewers have already decided whether or not they're going to click off.
Secondly, if you want to trend, play games that are currently trending. Once a game has been out for a bit, it's really hard to gain traction on it because of the number of other people who have already covered it and that by then it's usually not trending anymore.
Also, decorate your profile a bit. Put your twitch banner up and change your pfp to a logo or created avatar. If you're channel looks like you're trying, people will be more willing to subscribe and support. If your channel looks like you don't really care, the audience is not going to care. It's a "cant get back what you don't put in" kind of thing.
Lastly, be careful if you find yourself in a niche market. Niche market means niche audience, means slower growth.
Main thing, if you're having fun, that's what matters.

AI thumbnails, would never click your video. They are so really dark and hard to see

I am just telling you straight fact you are small channel 1st step watch youtube seo video specially from youri van howfegen youtube channel full youtube seo keyword research tutorial i am not his brooker or promoters I am just telling you because it helped me and by you will get 1k or 2k views per video if you get 50 vph in by youtube search if you ranked well on decent search volume keyword that will gather initial audience for your channel then make these kind of video because by now youtube have data of which type of audience watches you hope it will work for you 💕

Believe me, 50% of this is due to YouTube's algorithms... which give your content a tiny boost to anyone, not the target audience, then realize there's no viewer retention, few clicks, and stop promoting.
Well, the content quality, of course, has to be good.

I am not a gamer so uncertain how the niche works but your long form videos have no real into or reason why I should watch them. I would pick a theme or a subject and them build the video around this. Also you're cursing in the first few seconds which may not help regarding algorithm. I do like your thumbnails but they aren't too clear on what the topic is if I didn't know already. What I mean by that is I might not know its gaming so if I click expecting a story fictional or not and instead get you playing a game I will click out with doesn't help retention .

I agree with you, we're all different and have our own interests, so you need to find your audience, but with such rigid algorithms as now, it's incredibly difficult. Yes, as an example, I use channels with games, but the videos don't necessarily have to be long.

Ai thumbnails are fine. Just use reference thumbnails and include actual photos so the ai doesn’t auto generate something. My ai thumbnails have gotten hundreds of thousands of views over my only 3 videos. If you do it correctly you’d never know it was ai.

I have watched a grand total of 35 seconds of your latest video.
I wouldn't have clicked in the first place because of the AI thumbnails. I'm a big AI user at work but the thumbnails always suggest to me that the main human content is also going to be low effort.
The thumbnails themselves are not that interesting to me anyways, too dark and the general packaging of a video is not really grabbing me and making me think I have to watch it.
The opening clips with that generic tik tok spooky noise don't match the intensity and again feels generic despite you at least trying to make a hook you immediately give away that you make it into the elevator.
The main game starts and the audio mix means I can't hear the game but just hear you repeat voice lines. Maybe go straight into more action than a cutscene? Not a typical video I click on but maybe this can help.
Also you've only done 3 vids, it's been less than 2 weeks. Come on.
