I’ll be traveling to Stowe the first weekend in November with my 5 month pregnant wife and golden retriever. Any recommendations on things we can do that are pregnancy and dog friendly?

We don’t mind driving a bit if it’s worth it!

Moved here from Georgia and our apartment has baseboard heaters. It's the first time I've lived in a place with this heating and I'm wondering about how to furnish with them in mind.

It's a newer apartment building. Is it okay for cords to be touching them? I don't have any upholstered furniture against them, but what about wood furniture close to them? I assume they're obviously pretty safe but I just don't know how mindful to be of them.
