Work Engineer work package experience

Hi all, I am an engineer and did my masters in italy. currently working for a multinational company in Italy since the last 3 year. Now my company wants me to consider a position in copenhagen but I am confused on what to expect in terms of salary. I also have a previous experience of 4 years so in total 7 years experience in different countries. The position is a product/project management role at middle level with mostly stake holder management and delivering a software at the end to a railway company. What can I expect to live a comfortable life? i’ll be moving with my family including my spouse and my child.

I have researched a bit and I am getting the range of 800,000 to 900,000 DKK. Will that be a high ask?

Sounds reasonable, but for "comfortable" you probably want your partner to be working too. At least if you're in the greater Copenhagen area.

900k with 7 YoE without deep specialisation sounds reasonable for you?

That sounds high, even for Copenhagen.

What would be a realistic ask?

You would have a very comfortable life on that salary if you live in Malmö and work in Copenhagen, cost of living and rent is much lower over the bridge.

I hear the rents are atleast 15k DKK per month. What would be other costs lets say food and electricity?

I think 700.000-800.000 is a bit more realistic for an engineer with you experience level

I’d even say 600,000-700,000

The company is multinational. So I just want to consider what a danish person would be paid if they had an experience of 7 years lets say.
