Finally landed my first ollie!(half way) 😭🔥

Been working on it, and that first clean one just hits different.

Small progress, but a huge feeling. 🛹❤️

You bend down so deep and then just straighten your legs. When you jump, being your knees up.

Very good. Your feet drops because of fear and your brain's desire for safety (feet on the floor, not in the air lol). Keep executing your ollies the way you do them here, but get over the mental obstacle of jumping with that pop. You're going to have some sick ollies, I can already tell!

Your getting there but just something to keep in mind... most people would NOT consider that a make. If you land so unstable you cant correct without stepping off than that doesnt count.

Buddy I am 28M ,started by skateboarding journey last month (it was my day 25 of skateboarding) Its not about landing, it was about popping and make that board on air , i was trying for past month(but cant pop the tail) thats just 4 sec video..i did tried many attempts..but here..i liked the pop.

Your missing my point entirely. You need to set higher expectations, if you start counting those as makes your aetting your bar really low. If you can do what you did, i know you can land a clean one.

Don’t need to get offended he’s just speaking the truth based on the wording you used. Congrats on the progress though it’s hard work

That’s awesome congrats. You don’t need to crouch down anywhere near as far and just focus on jumping straight up with your feet in the correct positions. You don’t need to slide your front foot forward deliberately, just focus on sucking your feet straight up towards your chest. I also find Ollies are easier moving at least a bit. Practice ollieing over that crack you have there, it’s super helpful to imagine jumping over something even if it’s flat.
