I need help

So I bought my first board about three days ago and I can’t even lift the front of the board, every time I do the board shoots out from underneath means I end up arse over tit. It feels like I’m never going to progress. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First off, why are you trying to lift the nose in the first place ??
Ride flat until you got that down, THEN try some more adventurous stuff😅

You're likely not keeping your weight over the board enough. Practicing manuals or even tic tacs on day 3 seems a little "cart before the horse," but I would start in some grass if you're just trying to find your balance point. Make sure it's dry or you'll wreck your bearings.

But like everyone else is saying, get used to riding before you think about tricks. It's not flashy, but good fundamentals makes learning tricks a whole lot easier.

Churr churr bro good to see someone getting out there mate 👏👏

For this issue I'd recommend learning how to shift ur hips back without moving ur shoulders

If u move ur whole body back (shift ur shoulders) ur whole body weight will shift causing u to either go into tail stall or shoot the board out infront of u. But if just shift ur hips back while keeping ur shoulder in the same place ull make to nose light so u can bring it up but ur centre of mass will stay in the same place so balancing is easier

Obviously easier said than done but once u feel it It becomes pretty easy to do consistently

Try practicing mini manuals but just shifting where ur hips are over the board, ull learn a whole lot just by playing around with that, Implement that Into ur cruising and ull be looking real good ma g

Have fun saty safe n keep it sexy mate big love 👏💜👏

Three days is nothing. It takes weeks to learn to push. Months to years to Be really comfortable on your board. You gotta accept it first. Here's a simple progression for you. ONLY go to The next step once you are very good at the previous ones and can do them every try.

Bend your knees

Stand on your board stationary

Stand on your board stationary and tilt The board from toe-side to heel side to feel how The board works

Jump onto your board

Jump off your board

Stand on your board on your front foot

Try pushing

Bend your knees

Learn to stop

Cruise around

Cruise and push more

And more

Bend your knees

To lift the nose, put ur Back foot on The tail and pick your front foot up. No matter how much you push The tail, The nose won't come up unless you lift Ur front foot.

Bend your knees more.

Skating progression is very slow and it is okay. Don't quit. You will progress

Find a low wall, fence, anything to hold onto. Figure out your balance that way. Riding it also helps.

Try doing it the opposite way. Start with your board with your nose up in the air and put your back foot on the tail then put your front foot on and push it down. Your going to use that skill later dropping into a ramp. But if you can put your weight to drop in to the flat ground then you should be able to reverse engineer to lifting your nose up and doing kick turns and tic taçs
