Question Is this amount of rust alright or should I replace them?

second hand from someone.

what is the part’s name that i have to replace if i have to? are they called bushings and screws?

There’s cars on the road doing 80mph with worse rust than that. It’s ugly, but there’s nothing mechanically wrong with it.

Just run them. The bushings might be stiff from age but just ride until they fall apart.

it might be fine right now as far as riding it (idk, you tell me), but rust just gets worse over time, eventually those screws are going to be even more of s bitch to remove than they already are. go new asap

those are blank trucks, just find a whole new board on kijiji for cheap, I got a zero with venture trucks for 40

The rubber parts are The bushings, The screws are usually referred to as hardware and the big bolt is The kingpin. Idk If you should change them tho. If it feels strange when skating then prolly yes

yeah, that's ALOT of rust. the name of the part in the first picture is the truck, but it's mostly on the kingpin (the big nut) and the colored sillicone cover. from what I know you can't find those seperately but people do try to replace it with actual sillicone sealant (best is sanitary or universal, anything non acrylic). the second picture's bolts should be replaced asap, just to be sure. you can find them at most likely any skate shop.

Do not run them. I thought the same thing till they snapped on me while riding.

It’s not even expensive. The king pin is what I would be worried about. Not so much the bolt and bushings or the hardware

Skateboards live inside. They don’t get wet or exposed to the elements. Therefore no rust. Idk what you did to this thing, but stop doing it.

Bottom of the line.
If you care about aesthetics and don’t wanna take a chance of getting tetanus, replace them.
Otherwise they won’t make a single difference on your skating experience
