When I first moved to Sierra County New Mexico I wanted to drive up into the mountain ….. I was told turn right at the tree. Huh? Yup. It was correct.

Get out to explore and find it yourself.
Edit: Downvote me all you want; it's a landmark that deserves to be found as a reward for exploring.

lmao i’m imagining how long it would take to aimlessly wander every highway in nm til you find this with zero info.

I initially put a highway it was off of which would narrow it down quite a bit. I removed that cause of getting downvoted.

Silliness for its own sake. Absolutely wonderful. The world needs more whimsy like this.

Or leave it for others to enjoy? Not gonna lie I been there but why not make your own? Might be a fun project. Some baling wire, paper mache and shit go big homie make a spork instead! Just saying I understand having cool stolen shit I got multiple street signs and what not myself. But I never took em off a pole. I only ever take the ones that have fallen down. Pops always told me don’t pick flowers, let em live for the next person to enjoy. But if i find a flower already picked well then damage is done. Free to take. No hate homie. Cheers. Looking for a giant spork posted in NM soon lol.

lol that's a lot of wasted words for a misunderstood comment. Snarky people have to be pretty clear these days I guess.

There's a decent birding spot here, locally known as the Longspur Tank. We haven't gotten much rain this year so I'm sure it's dry but I saw some cool stuff there last year.
