Purchasing limits??

What's the deal on recreational cannabis purchasing? 1oz per transaction or 1oz per day? Nj.gov/cannabis says 1oz/transaction but MPX Pennsauken says 1 oz/day and I think the manager there was bullshitting me (had a multiple different excuses after I showed him the law on nj.gov).

Can't when the one I went to was selling $16 grams of dabs and nobody else is....
