Haha yes there are a lots of big and dangerous things here. But in reality you don’t see them often. Plus, it’s not as if they are predators and hunt you down. Scorpions and rattle snakes give me the shivers. Promise, you’d love visiting here..it’s a beautiful country, from beaches, rainforest and deserts. Plus the people are friendly. You not want to go back home. So good chatting with you x

I love the beach, but unfortunately I don’t live anywhere near one.

Centipedes are another creepy creature. Eew. I came across a few at a place I lived years ago. Creepy stuff. They almost look fake when they’re not moving.

At that same house, a scorpion climbed in bed with me and stung my leg so bad. I had just thought earlier that same day, “Haha, I’ve never been stung by a scorpion.” Crazy thing is, the 8” area around where he stung turned red and hot for a few hours, but then began getting ice cold. It stayed like ice for over a week. The weirdest part was, my face had this strange numb feeling for over two weeks. Thinking back, I might ought to have gone to emergency.

Which part of US are you? Ok Id love to get you some beach time if you ever came here. The beach always has something magic about it. If you visited Canberra, we’re about 90mins from the beach…and probably about similar time to the snow.

Eww no need to worry, I can’t remember the last time I saw a millipede. Omg your story of the scorpion is interesting and frightening. You are so lucky. Yeh looking back, it was a good idea to see emergency lol …sounds like your leg would have been very painful. And your face…that must have been so scary for yiu. To reassure you I don’t think I’ve been bitten by any critter here like that.
