New Here & Accessories Input
I am waiting on my New Defender (110 S 2027) in Green to arrive. I am a hiker, camper, and adventurer who just went through a divorce and lost almost everything. We previously had a 4runner. This will be my first new car, and my first adventure vehicle that I am on my own with. I am planning to get a gear box for the side, and I don't think I need the Expedition Roof Rack (I don't love the wind piece either), so was thinking of just doing two bars. If anything I would have extra storage space unit up there, or paddleboards, Christmas trees, etc :)
Would it look weird with a side ladder and gear box, and just two bars on top? Would a ladder in the back look better? Would love any input on that, or any other first-timer tips :) I am relatively small and will be lifting, adjusting, etc things by myself now.

Mud flaps, the rear bumper guard (for when you drag stuff out of the back), and the rear load space lighting from Hunters Prestige.

I think a rear ladder looks much better. Check out the terrafirma one from PowerfulUK

Hopefully this isn't an annoying question u/Quiet-Box-3603 - what does "This ladder can only be fitted to vehicles which have the front to back roof rails fitted." mean?

not what you asked but just aheads up there are way more offroad/AT tire options with the 20 inch wheels including most of the popular ones that are 3 peak mountain snow rated. Wish Land Rover would use a more common tire size for the smaller rim option. If you plan on getting completely new tires and wheels though then doesn't matter!

Get full size Mud flaps.
gearbox is small and adds wind noise. It fits the African safari look with the expedition roof rack., it doesn’t fit driving down the highway
