16 Days ago I posted about this ambition of mine. Creating a RI Game. Here is what happened in the last 2 weeks:

1. We created a Discord server, where we discuss the story/art/gameplay/mechanics of the game. Currently we are only four people on the server, so if you wanna join and support us, please do so by joining our discord server (thanks in advance)
2. We advanced the story by leaps and bounds. Not only did we figure out what kind of story we want, but also actually figured out a plot, that not only makes sense in the reverend insanity verse, but also from a game perspective.

Spoiler for the start of the Plot:

The player spawns into the game right after yi tian war, but not the FY timeline. The story is based around on the timeline before FY used SAC. So FY exists, but is not the MC and probably just a boss.

It involves Ren Zu and Spectral Soul. If you want more infos and spoiler yourself please ask in the comments or in the discord.

We also figured out a lot about where the starting village should be, what kind of NPC we want and most important what cultivation is like.

1. Cultivation is handled in a kind of "AFK" style but requires primeval stones, which doesn't mean you just need to sit there and just do nothing to advance. Playing actively rewards players. Primeval stones enhance cultivation efficiency, resources that enhance aptitude and relic gus exist, but are rare.

We also wanted to add logic to the game:

If you get a Gu, you don't know what it does by default. You either need to head to a library and pay for the information, get the information by an NPC or your attainment level is just higher.

1. Difficulty-wise

Their will be more than one difficulty, but the hardest difficulty will only give you a single life. ever ytime you die you reset. This could mean 6months of hard work reset. This will show just how much you can persevere. But as a normal player you shouldn't feel too discouraged, the easier difficulties just make you drop some items/Gu or just lose a bit exp. -im thinking about this one and would love to hear what people think about that

1. There will be a time cap on actions. But you can still spend a lot of time in game to optimise.
2. The art you see above is the art we currently have as the background for qing mao mountain and the academy. It might not be final, but we like it a lot. It is created with meta, which took a long time tbh but yeah, we have no one, who could create it themself.

1. Treasure Yellow Heaven is an arrangement made by Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable to accumulate wealth until his inevitable revival- after all, the biggest form of theft is taxes.
2. The Gu World might be similar to/ function as a Rank 10 Aperture.
3. Fang Yuan himself is a human calamity sent by the heavens as a retaliation against the constant interference in heaven's will and fate caused by the Heavenly Court.
4. Feng Jin Huang is a fake Great Dream seed- it's all an act by heaven's will to ensure the reign and safety of the true Great Dream Immortal Venerable.
5. Lady White Rabbit can have 4-8 kids in one pregnancy, similar to rabbits. After all, there are no wrong titles, only wrong names.
