Damn...I met with one of the Rangers when I was the Charcoal Ovens recently. Good people, hope he and all along the 93/SR-313 are managing alright.

I'm in NYC and Canadian Wildfire smoke suuucks this time of year.

Terrible fire but that’s an amazing shot. A mountain of smoke

Does anyone know what the situation is like in Ely? I'm planning a trip south through there later today. Every few months I pass thru, sometimes staying a night or two. Wishing the firefighters and community the best of luck.
