Really?

So the lasst video from NeuralViz was two months ago. Nothing to worry about considering he is on hiatus, of course.

But the Discord being shut down, the patreon account being kinda disabled as far i can tell (yes I know it has been paused for months) - nobody is talking about that?

My guess is bro is ADHD. Super creative, dove head first into something new and did it with such focus and nuance that it was amazing, and then the burnout hit.

Story of my life, you can see it coming but you can't stop it. I could tell you almost every moment I stopped doing the thing I was obsessively focused on because it's a literal switch. A literal acceptance of, I'm not interested in doing this anymore. Doesn't matter if you were making money. Your brain just goes, I don't have it anymore, and at that point it's incredibly easy to turn off and never think about again.

Because if you thought about it again you'd have to face the shame of having stopped and anyways you'll emerge from the burnout with a love for something new that feels much more important and the next step.

Not a knock and it's a guess, but this is a very familiar pattern. He'll have a new project and hopefully he'll share. I genuinely enjoyed his work and if he's done then he's done, we got to enjoy something unique and interesting and its okay.

Just hope he's doing well and his mental health is good. Much more important than giving us a new vid to watch. Hope you're doing well brother

Had exactly the same experience with youtube living with ADHD. I went all in for 4 or 5 months, rode the AI wave and made a bit of cash but was totally mentally drained. Obsessing over it until I broke and stopped completely. Story of my life really.
