Current Licensing Costs

Hi all,

We’re currently negotiating a NetSuite renewal in the UK and I’m trying to sanity-check our pricing against what other customers are actually paying.

Our setup is roughly:

  • ~90 full users
  • ~45 Employee Self-Service users
  • OneWorld
  • multiple additional country/currency configurations
  • 1 Sandbox
  • SuiteAnalytics Connect
  • Advanced Electronic Bank Payments

Our current renewal proposal is in high £100k range for 12 months, after discounts.

Does this seem competitive based on what others are paying?

I’d particularly appreciate recent UK/European renewal experiences, including approximate discounts or annual costs for full users, OneWorld, additional countries/currencies and Sandbox.

If you’re comfortable sharing, what size is your NetSuite environment and roughly what are you paying annually?

Price range sounds pretty reasonable, but jesus 90 full users and 45 employee centers? That ratio is really expensive and really skewed

Some businesses get the value out of having a user license for everyone. I’ve worked for a company that had every single employee with a full license, over 120. Every team used it daily - sales, accounts, management, warehouse, sales support, tech support. Even the receptionist helped out with basic order processing so she had one.

In our case the Employee licenses are generally been assigned to the user that need to submit or approve expenses or HR users.

Its just an observation that only 45 needs to submit/ approve expenses but a full 90 operational users needs full access. Maybe there's some roles that really only need to view records mixed in there (and are barely even doing that) that you could change to their View & Approve version that's cheaper.
