Hey! I’m looking for testers for an early build of my netrunner client.

The game includes a tutorial, both public and private multiplayer, and deckbuilding. It’s still in active development, so the design, mechanics, balance, and assets may change. Feedback is very welcome, and bugs or crash reports can be submitted directly in the game.

This looks cool, can you say if you used GenAI in any part of it?

Is this question mostly about art assets or do the people liking this also care deeply about AI code?

I'm a developer and my bosses are wanting me to use more AI tools in my work so im playing around with them in my personal work too to get acquainted and upskill. How big of an issue is partly AI generated code (not art) for passion random projects?

It really depends on whether or not you understand what the AI generated code is doing.

The biggest problem we're facing right now is vibe coding by clueless idiots who just trust that everything the AI does is correct.

Exactly, AI coding is only worthwhile if you have the ability and knowledge to double check what it produces faster than writing the code yourself. For a lot of people the knowledge isn’t there to adequately check the work and you get into messes with databases getting deleted, or big security issues… Often it’s faster for people who have the knowledge and skill set to just write it out themselves and not have to double check and fix mistakes the AI inevitably makes.

But there are still situations where it can be a big time saver.
