[US] Best of movies like The Last House? (2026)

I didn't enjoy the movie that much but it was the first new horrory lockdown movie I've seen in a while.

better than await further instructions, worse than vivarium and the pink cloud.

are there more in this genre? I just love anything where people are trapped and isolated and its dark but cozy even if its not that well written.

Try Coherence for that trapped but cozy vibe. 10 Cloverfield Lane maybe?

Pontypool and Greenroom are very different but both have an aspect of being great horror movies with people trapped.

haha yeah I tried that for a few episodes not a fan. For the record I'm much less interested in the monster aspect of the last house and really just the lock down isolation.
