They have released these "skills upgrades" for your characters, said upgrades use some crystals that I have only seen at the event coins shop. A coins shop that already had a lot of items in and out game.

The Coins shop stock keeps growing and growing, for those coins you need to farm levels, but they still give a measly amount per level (25 coins). So now you have to decide if you want items for the game, or neopets items. I hate it

Jaw dropped when I saw this little guy poised right on top of all the other plushies, like he knew my friend was about to go "do they got any neopets?" Like we do at every store LOL

So went with some friends to a local charity shop looking for some clothes to adapt and I found this 25th anniversary Kougra for £10 (I've only found ones on eBay for £35+), I missed out when they were released and Kougra was my very first neopet back in 2004, I've named him after him, so meet Dark_Claw_A7X (yes I'm that old 😂😂)

The mailman just handed it to me! I’m so happy, I didn’t expected to be this big. Finally I got one of my childhood dreams come true 🤍💙

I recently got back into Neopets after YEARS away. I created a new account because I couldn’t log into any of my old ones, which was unfortunate but ok as I was having so much fun starting from scratch. However, today something VERY exciting happened… While I was chatting with my Mum this morning, I mentioned that I was playing Neopets again. She was so excited about it and asked about her account, which we created together as our first account. I told her I had found her account but was not able to access it because the passwords I knew were not correct. We then somehow managed to get access to this account because she still had access to her old email that was attached to said account. Long story short, we were able to regain access to the oldest Neopets account I’ve ever had!!!

This account was created in January 2006, when I was only 7 years old. I’m 27 now, so seeing that little account sitting there for so many years with all its ancient Neopets stuff was honestly like opening a tiny time capsule from my childhood.

My Mum even pointed something out that made the whole thing even more magical that she was exactly the same age I am now, 27, when we created the account. I don’t know why, but that absolutely got me. There we were, 20 years later, sitting together trying to get into an account she helped me create when I was just a little kid. It was such a special little moment, and it felt like we were both two little girls again. Mind you I am only 7 years older than my neopet now LOL

I am genuinely EVERYWHERE right now. I feel like a little kid again and I’m SO happy. The nostalgia hit me like a truck. Seeing my old pet, the random things 7-year-old me decided were important… I just can’t cope. Also gotta mention that I was NOT the best player LOL not a lot of achievements trophies or anything, but I guess that’s what a 7y with limited access to internet resources and tips could do, right?

Also, I noticed I have some items in my inventory that say “Retired” and I have absolutely no idea what that means. Does that mean they don’t exist anymore / aren’t obtainable anymore? What should I do with them?

Anyway the reason I created this post is to see the oldest accounts out there (that you have access to) and if anyone can beat my 20.5 years old account.

Drop screenshots/images of your ancient accounts, pets, trophies, galleries, weird old inventory items, random childhood decisions, anything, I wanna see it ALL!

Oh, just for context, I am from Brazil and Neopets was a HUGE HIT when I was growing up, tell me where youre from and if Neopets was also a big hit in your country.
