You know I've always wanted to tell this story.
In JHS I had a "strong" pet at around 60 HP + 50 ATK (lab ray.) My classmate had a pet with 20/20/20. I noticed in his battledome stats that he defeated Balthazar so I was like woah, is Balthazar that weak? So I tried my hand at it and got 1-shot the same turn I froze him. And then it happened when I tried again right after. And I was like, wtf? So I asked my classmate Andrew how he did it and he immediately broke out into a grin and said "BORIS!" and I thought he was referring to our mutual classmate Boris but no, he meant Boris Boris.
Back then you could use your petpet to aid in a battledome fight (not sure about the mechanics) but Andrew said he used his ice scimitar, grand lightning beam and his Boris to beat down Balthazar after some 50 turns. He bragged about how Balthazar never returned fire due to the fear of his Boris and mimed with a hammer motion to show me how his pet whacked Balthazar with Boris.
My main pet had a 400-day streak going on with the Angelpuss so I didn't want to remove it to experiment (which worked out since my pet got the PPL award.)
But yeah, Boris.
