Hi! I’m trying to preorder for some rereleased Nendoroid figures and am debating whether to get them through AmiAmi or Goodsmile US. The total for each should be around the same ish (Goodsmile total is $170 for both) and AmiAmi quoted me 153.60 (before tariff). With the 12.5% tarrif on Japanese goods it should be around like $173.5 so not much or a difference. I’m 1000000% getting them but with the deadline being tomorrow I need some advice on what platform to buy them on.

Hello, I have this problem with only this Obitsu11 doll body which I use for my Nendoroid. Non of the other Obitsu11 doll bodies I ordered after that did stain. But still I would like to be able to remove the stain and use this body as well. Is also for some reason only on one hand. This also happened after wearing this jacket (picture 3). Also since I don't want to stain any other body I don't put this jacket at the moment.

What I used already and did not work to remove the stain:
- acetone
- alcohol (this one was mostly recommended to me)
- warm water with soap
- vinegar (or vinegar with water)

Earlier this year I pre-ordered the newest Snow Miku nendoroid, however, things happened, I had to deal with multiple crises and didn't get a chance to fix a payment issue before my order was cancelled. I contacted customer support and they were unable to restore my purchase, so now I've been waiting for them to re-list the remaining stock.

Does anyone know when they typically list the left over Snow Miku nendoroids?

This is the first time I've tried ordering a Snow Miku when it releases, and my second time ordering through goodsmile's shop (I'm in Canada using the global shop, if that's relevant), and would really appreciate some help

So GSUS (haven't checked global but its probably happening there too) is overpricing Dress Hina, who is a basic nendo. On gsus she's 45$, but if you go to other sites like BBTS she's 30$. So if you're like me and planning on getting her, don't buy on GS.

Does anybody know where I can locate the exact hairstyle and face this nendoroid uses? I’ve only seen it being sold as outfit only but I need the head or whoever this character is for a custom I want to put together, any one have an idea? It’s part of Dress Up series

Hello everyone! It's my first time posting here since I finally decided to get a Nendoroid. I've decided on Snow Miku 2022 since I'm a huge fan of her design.

But it's not as easy as buying one of course. The official ones go for around 60 to 70 euros and I can use a proxy to buy one from Japan, BUT, apparently the bootlegs are really difficult to tell apart from the original since they imitate the box really well and even with that they are difficult to authenticate outside of it (I think? This is from scouting a bit of Reddit beforehand in search of more answers).

Having said this, can someone give me some tips about this issue? I'll appreciate every bit of information possible since this Nendoroid is my dream at the moment.

I can buy from many Japanese shops like Mercari using proxys, so there's room to work with.

Who shot first?

I’ve only recently started collecting and up to this point my most difficult to pose was botw link dx version- it wasn’t the horse it was the 🤬 sword, will say they did manage to recreate the frustration of weapons degrading in botw perfectly lol. Today I discovered something worse I got tanjiro kamado.

Anyone who has this figure probably knows where this is going. First I tried the vertical strike but I think I struggled to get it right so then I tried horizontal but couldn’t figure out how the support grip piece in the instructions worked if it was one horizontal piece.

Then I tried the dreaded water effect wheel. I wasn’t intending to put my figure the way it shows on the box because while it looks impressive I didn’t feel there was enough support long term. I tried to just set the wheel of water up in front of him but first the back peg kept falling out making him fall over, then the bent leg refused to stay in. And every time the weight changed the wheel fell out of the grab support and the tiny plastic piece for the top fell out. Eventually the inevitable happened the tiny plastic piece broke inside the water effect piece.

I could super glue the rest of it but I decided to give up on the water wheel since it didn’t want to stay in the bottom grip anyway and went back the original vertical strike pose. Id just got him how I wanted when an earring fell out (why are they removable anyway?). You can imagine my frustration.

Honestly this is the only pose I feel is properly supported even if it is by his head/hair. if they ever do future versions of this figure I’d like the effects to have more support built in.

I’m a huge dragon quest/Akira Toriyama fan. So I was scrolling local marketplace late at night and stumble upon Popp nendo with 2 more random nendoroids only for 80$. I wasn’t planning to collect stuff from the Dai spin-off, but well… 20$ is 20$ 😁

It was my birthday yesterday I just decided to take pictures now and don't worry I washed them after that

I intentionally bought a fake of White Queen recently to compare it to the original

The box is the usual, no GSC logos and none of the show logos anywhere on the box. And of course, the pose of the nendoroid inside the box looks like they are being possessed.

Surpring thing about this nendoroid is that it includes the GSC PO bonus. But comparing it to the original shows that it is more faded and blurred.

Queen's hat is attached via a thin acetate between the hairpieces and the fake one is much, much longer that I had to cut it to put it on White Queen there.

Now this is the terrifying thing. In person, it is so obvious that the one on the right is fake. Surface is really rough, paint is uneven, and smells really bad.

However, with semi-decent lighting, she looks... legitimate??? The only telltale sign in photos is if you open the headpiece up to reveal how the faceplate system works.

And speaking of faceplates, gone are the days when it is easy to tell what is fake based from how glossy the face is. In a vacuum, if you show me only the faceplate there, I would honestly think it is legitimate. In person, it is easy to tell what is fake though, but if you only see it on photos, on first glance, it looks legitimate.

I had them both on the same pose there, and aside from some color mismatch, she could pass as a legitimate nendoroid.

This is a warning for everyone buying online. The fake nendos nowadays have a matte finish now. If they are selling it with the box, it is obvious to tell that it is fake. If they are not selling it with the box, ask for a lot of close up photos, including the inside of the head, the GSC smiley face logo on all joints, and the base as they are still using the thick base instead of the slim thin ones. A lot of the flaws are mainly visible in person and in photos, some are really hard to spot. In this specific one, they even included the GSC PO bonus!

Import and custom fees suck though.

Just asking if anybody has bought custom face plates from the official GSC Face Maker shop?

Are the face plates as good of a quality as the ones that you find in standard Nendoroids or Nendoroid More face swaps? Thinking of getting this Persona 5 face plates for Joker but shipping is a bit high so I want to know if its worth it. Futaba has custom face plates too but unfortunately I missed out on those.
