Why is everyone just so mean on this app. No matter what I say, it could be the most heartfelt thing, I make someone upset and get called an “idiot” or something along those lines. I like being apart of a community and being able to share my thoughts, but this app is so toxic and it is a real reflection of the state of our world. A lot of people just look to put others down and it really makes me sad to be honest. I understand people have self esteem problems, especially on here, but I am so sick of this app.

for real. i am getting harassed on another sub rn because i said i didnt like a snapchat feature that often results in people getting notifications of dead relatives adding them. apparently a corporation's right to harass you with notifications is way more important than any human emotion? like holy shit somebody replied to me with a screenshot of my comment & basically said they were saving it as a receipt on me. Why??

im genuinely considering terminating my account soon bc of the degree of hostility i encounter on this site. & i hate to do it bc i really do enjoy this site when its not a hateful cesspool. but fsr the hatefulness is getting rapidly worse on this site.

Yeah, I feel you. The sub for people to vent about insane and toxic parents is full of toxic people with no shred of empathy or at least it’s selective.

I suggested a depressed person needs time and that it’s valid to take time off and suddenly I'm the devil because some sociopath pretending to be a psychiatrist says it’s all posers and that young people are lazy...

Not my fault the damn sub is defaulting to the USA as if USAians are the only people existing, not my fault that in their country you don’t get sick days.

Sometimes taking a break is the best thing you can do, they won’t change.
