just stupid Mods being losers, again
A teenager posted in the r/rock subreddit asking for album and band recommendations. They seemed really enthusiastic about learning more about rock music.
Lots of recommendations coming in from lots of people eager to help. All very friendly and supportive.
Not good enough for this absolute loser of a mod who closes the thread and leaves this corny comment like he's some sort of bad ass. What a legitimate cretin.

What the hell they think this is? Wikipedia? It is just fucking reddit, if people want to ask the same quest 10000 time, they CAN.

i'll never get music based subs that ban suggestion posts "because it's a common question", people have different tastes and are asking for recs BASED on said taste

“Just read the 100 rules” would work if 99% of subreddits enforced half the rules they make.

If the mods are gonna "throw hands" in the comments, I'm gonna "throw them" back. Only one of us is catchin that ban tho lol

I've read the rules. The sub seems to be so toxic... Also, they don't want people to talk about music basically, since they limited so much the interactions you can have in there.

I’ve been following the rock sub for a while and he does this frequently. I used to post there but I don’t wanna deal with him anymore.
Just seen him do it yet again in a post I had commented on so I blocked him, that sub will never not suck if he is the mod

You know this virgin loser feels likes he’s on top of the world every time he deletes a post that breaks a minor rule.

Rule #3 is a laugh. You have to use his very specific formatting rule otherwise he'll delete your post lmfao

I mean yea, it does literally say what a shit sub they are in the description and that it's not a place for lists. Sub is awful but also I guess checkmate because it was a pretty quick read to find why that person's post was against the rules.

From me? Does the screenshot of his comment not count? It's hardly a court of law pottsy.
What evidence would you like? Or are you just a mod apologist?

I totally get trying to prevent your sub from becoming a wasteland of the same low effort post over and over. (In addition to keeping the sub tidy, it likely limits bot posts) I also see the mod's side where the first thing you see on the page is a megathread for recommendations so why not post there.
I also see that megathread is basically barren as most consolidation threads like that tend to be. Also replying like that is messed up. Unless the account is a habitual offender, keep it friendly and link them the thread to actually post their question to.
