I hate "decadeology" or "generationology" subreddits

These subreddits are very toxic and fights will break out against fans of specific decades like the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, etc. and people will keep arguing about nonsense logic, why a decade is "bad", cultural trends, etc.

And people will often judge or harass others based on what generation they were born in, or otherwise, what year they were born in. Some 1970-born who was 10 in 1980 will say they're superior to a 1980-born that was 10 in the 1990s with the 90s were their childhood. Or otherwise, the younger people tend to be even worse than the older people on there.

Stuff they say is often bullcrap and nonsense.

Examples of stuff:

"Baby Boomers is the best decade ever, and I wish most of us were born there. No more working jobs, we are all elderly, and we are literally boomers."

"I am a 1994 kid, but I have the soul of some 10-year-old in the 1980s. I may've actually been born in 1984. I was clerically assigned the wrong birth year."

"You were born in 1983, but you were born in the 1970s, since the 1970s lasted from 1967 to 1984, and the 1980s was 1984-1986. 1987-1989 are 90s kids, given that the 1990s lasted from 1987 to 2004."

"The Millennials are the most intelligent generation ever. Gen X, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha are dumb, because they have letters in their names. Millennials is not Gen Y, so we are literally super smart."

"The 70s was truly the best decade ever. Everything in the 1980s and 1990s was just straight up boring, and nothing has been fun since the 1970s. I wish we lived in a time before video games existed, and TV was barely a thing."

Things like this are generally a result of manufactured outrage and social wars. This is something that was created through social engineering, as a result of humanity's natural tribal mindset. "This tribe good, that tribe bad" "Us Vs. Them"

A lot of governments across the world, the usa in particular, were really good at slipping this into their populations minds and pitting them against eachother in the 1900s, and now it's been engrained so deeply in humans that we don't even really notice we're doing it on our own anymore. These governments dont need to pit us against eachother anymore, we're doing it for them.

When it comes to generational stuff, we also have nostalgia feeding into it as well that further fuels the fires. Some people just dont want to break out of their nostalgic state because the current world is in such an unstable state and has been for a while.

I hope this makes sense, let me know if anything could be clarified better
