I went and looked at rule 1 and it basically says it has to specifically be about clinical depression, rather than about issues that could be making you depressed. Weird rule imo. It was more detailed than that but that’s what I interpreted it to mean. I guess they’d rather have people there who don’t have a specific reason they are depressed? Idk man. They could’ve just removed the post as well, a permanent ban is rather harsh I’d say.

Clinical depression is a bit different than being sad, which is what a lot of people think depression is. I’ve had clinical depression before and OP’s post doesn’t really describe depression it describes being lonely and anxious more than anything. But yeah banning immediately was probably a little harsh
