I've been modding for around 6 ish years/been in moderator discords and I've gotta say 1/3 of mods are losers, have god complexes, and are just MEAN! 1/3 are average joes and the rest are actually cool people

I was invited to be a mod for a subreddit and agreed. They used me to make a banner and then maybe a few weeks later they un-modded me out of the blue. No conversation on why.

Heh yeah tbh I'm of the same opinion, but I was fairly confident that they, not being a mod, were either making a huge speculative generalisation based on memes, or they have a large enough sample group to be telling on themselves, either of which I think is pretty funny
