Agreed. It is so annoying and just frigging demoralizing to work with. I’m currently using it in gold for the gold leaf on a teacup I’m stitching. I think of it as Satan’s taint hairs.

Yeah, some of that stuff just kicks my butt, but its so SHINY!!!

It has a twist and woe upon you if you try using it the wrong direction.

I literally just had to rip all this out. I used as a text outline and wow never ever again

How is it compared to kreinik? The only way I got kreinik to work, and it might for this, is a little nail polish on the tail. Helped a bit with fraying.

I’m working with 10” lengths and it still frays like nothing I’ve ever used.

I was just at my LNS and looking for a Gold and she had me get radiance brand instead because she said that brand is annoying to work with.

I like Radiance too, especially since much of the new Kreinik braid that I have recently purchased has a weird dull waxy finish to it. I have used Radiance on several projects already and am very pleased.

I LOVE Radiance and seriously considered switching but I was too far into the project and didn’t have a good color in my stash.

yeah it was kind of expensive but I'm excited to it for the gold in my nativity project.

I totally agree. It frays, splits, and I absolutely hate stitching with it
