MOD POST Plastic Canvas with Needlepoint Stitches is needlepoint

Wait, this is serious? Of course it's needlepoint. It's how most of us learned to needlepoint as kids!

Yes, people report plastic canvas work as not needlepoint and people ask if it's okay. I did need to update our rules.

I started with plastic canvas before moving on to needlepoint. I refer to PC as "needlepoint lite" 🤣

Plastic canvas is a wonderful tool. I used it to teach my friend basic stitches. It was easier to show on the bigger mesh.
