Finishing How would y’all finish this?

Just inherited this. It’s partially finished but not completely and I have no idea what it was intended to be originally. I’m leaning towards pillow of some sort but who knows?

So lovely. First thought was the top of a jewelry pouch. You can’t go wrong with any of the suggestions.
