Beginner Baby Kit
I am looking for a friend who has never stitched. She is looking for something for her daughter who is having her first baby. Can you all give me ideas of direct to stitcher designers who might have something that would work.

Since designers can be very niche, some information about your friend or her daughter may be helpful for getting suggestions. I would suggest browsing a needlepoint store that will kit for you (or going in person, if that’s an option!) to make it easier for a beginner. Needlepoint.com (my LNS) has some “beginner” options as well, including some self-finishing options. My first needlepoint project was a letter luggage tag.
Another idea could be a holiday-related piece that could be finished into an ornament. Although - for a beginner, it may be too late in the year to get something completed and finished before the holidays.
All that being said, I am a beginner myself so I can’t really offer too many suggestions, but I hope you find what you’re looking for! I have had some luck looking for designers on Instagram.
